PHStat Troubleshooting Solutions For M1 and M2 Macbook Users Aug 16, 2022 8:38 PM Hi All, In the latest rendition of Excel on most M1 and M2 devices, ALL regression procedures will encounter the error, "Cell Ranges are not on the Active Worksheet" or something similar in Nature. If you have this issue as well I have found a workaround for you. You will need to have Rosetta 2 installed on your computer. To Manually Download Rosetta, you can open Launchpad > (search) Terminal > (Type in) /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-tolicense > run the program. This should install Rosetta 2 or the original onto your MacBook. Now open Finder > Applications > (locate and click on the EXCEL icon) > (in the menu bar) Select File > Get Info > (in the dialogue box that pops up) check Open Using Rosetta > Close the dialogue box Restart your Excel by force quitting it and relaunching the app. If a Pop-up appears telling you to turn off Rosetta, simply ignore it. Now open whichever excel file you wish and go wild. Congratulations!!! You are now able to plot any and all regression data on your Excel sheet on your MacBook!!
