Actividad Eje (Primera entrega) 3. Formula un agente limpiador BIODEGRADABLE que sustituya al producto que eligieron. Debes incluir los ingredientes y concentración, justificar la función de cada uno y su biodegradabilidad. The materials needed to make a biodegradable detergent (approximately 1 kilo) are the following: 4 cups of borax: Borax has been considered an excellent option for washing textiles since time immemorial, as it dissolves easily in water. 4 cups of sodium carbonate: Helps remove stains. 2 cups of baking soda: Like sodium carbonate, it is effective at removing difficult stains. 4 cups of grated natural soap: In addition to being environmentally friendly (because it does not contain any chemicals), it cleans clothes. Essential oils: They serve to give clothes a presentable smell, they also contribute to their good care. After mixing everything (with gloves, as some components can irritate the skin) you have to store it in a bag and let it rest for a day, after which it will be ready for use. All these components degrade in 2 to 10 business days dependent and independent variable of each test and formulate a hypothesis. Detergents to use: The product chosen is the detergent “Ariel”, which is used today to wash clothes by many Mexicans. We have decided to replace this product with one that is ecological and pleasant for the environment and without the need to use chemical compounds. To test our biodegradable detergent we have decided to use it to clean a shirt that is stained with mole and another with orange juice, against the detergent “Ariel”. First two shirts were soiled, one of the shirts will be put in the washing machine with the detergent Ariel and will be washed, after it has been washed it will be taken out to check if it has removed the stain. Then the other shirt will be put in the washing machine again but now with our biodegradable detergent and when it is finished washing it will be checked if it has also removed the stains. So with the two shirts Tests: Mole and orange juice stains and the water temperature will be cold (unfortunately, the exact temperature of the water cannot be known) Material: Ariel soap, biodegradable soap, a washing machine and the stained shirts. Experiment 1/ Mole and chemical detergent. Dependent variable: Stained clothing. Independent variable: Chemical detergent. Experiment 2/Orange juice and biodegradable detergent. Dependent variable: Stained clothing. Independent variable: Biodegradable detergent. Hypothesis: To verify that a biodegradable laundry detergent can be made that can be as effective as the “Ariel” chemical detergent, to determine that a biodegradable detergent is capable of cleaning all types of dirt or stains without the need for the intervention of chemical compounds. Phase II 1. Prepare 500 mL of the formulated cleaning agent. Video of 1 min max. 2. Carry out the efficacy test of the formulated cleaner by comparing the results with those of the agent of the chosen brand. Video of 1:30 min max. 3. Report your results in the appropriate manner (photos, tables and/or graphs. Type of detergent Clothes at the beginning of the experiment Clothes after the experiment Biodegradable Dirty Moderately clean but with a good smell. Ariel Clean Dirty https://youtu.be/xSqRGuI_RG8 This is the link to the video, 4. Perform the analysis of the results, indicating the experimental errors We can deduce that our biodegradable detergent called "Figaro's clean" met our expectations because it managed to eliminate the stains caused by food on the socks and did not cause any bad odor or irritation in the body, due to this it can be proven that it can be made with cheaper compounds, pleasant for the environment and easier to make at home, without having to worry about any damage or poisoning by the user who makes it, in addition, it is worth mentioning that we had some experimental errors because many of the team members did not bring the materials when we asked for them, complicating the production of the video and because one of our colleagues was absent for several days for health reasons, however we were able to solve it and continue giving our best effort in the fight for detergents that do not affect at all the little environment that remains 5. Write the conclusions and areas for improvement. Biodegradable detergents are alternatives that we should really take advantage of to contribute to caring for the environment. They may not be the cheapest, but they are not the most expensive either. Despite this, they have behaved like common detergents, they get rid of stains, they leave a good scent and they even have the possibility of reducing wrinkles in clothes, without affecting your economy and it is 100% made by Mexican students. As a team, we can improve communication and individual responsibility of our people and contribute more to our environment. It is also necessary to mention that we will try to know how to distinguish the names of the compounds to know how to differentiate them and not buy things that we do not use or are not necessary for our organic products. 6. Attach the documents obtained in steps 3 to 5 in your report of the first delivery. Ariza T. (2019). Detergente Casero para Lavadora a Base de Jabón (Polvo y Líquido).
