Objective:
To design and create a modern Filipiñana attire for a special occasion that
combines traditional Filipino elements with contemporary design features, including
detachable Filipiñana sleeves, a modern corset, and a slope-cut skirt. The aim is to
showcase a fusion of cultural heritage and modern fashion sensibilities, providing a
unique and elegant outfit option for special events that celebrates Filipino craftsmanship
and style.

1. Gather all the tools and materials needed.
2. Take body measurements and have them checked by the teacher.
3. Draft the patterns needed for the whole Filipiñana attire.
4. Prepare the fabric for layout and cutting.
5. Layout and cut the material.
6. Transfer construction marks from pattern to fabric.
7. Assemble the fabric pieces needed for the Filipiñana attire.
8. Sew each piece.
9. Make alterations if needed.
10. Perform fitting.
11. Make final alterations/adjustments if needed.
