In this exercise you are going to interview each other, so you have to ask a lot of questions and to
answer your partner’s questions. When you ask a question in English, you often have to use DO,
DOES or DID, for example:
’Where do you live?’ ’Does he like rock music?’ ’Did you like the concert?’ etc.
Ask your partner if he/she has
pets
a big family
a bicycle... (Please, go on with other examples!)
Does your partner like to
play football
go on holiday
read books
watch movies
go shopping
go to the cinema...
How often does your partner
go to a concert
clean
eat at McDonald’s
write an e-mail
use Google Maps…
When does your partner
pixabay
get up in the morning
go to bed in the evening
take a walk with the dog
charge his/her phone…
You also want to know something about your
partner’s family or friends.
Ask about mother, father, brother, girlfriend, son,
wife, husband, etc.
Do these people
live near your partner
have a job
go skiing in winter
speak English/German…
(For example:
Does your brother speak German?)
Then try to find out what your partner and his/her family DID yesterday, last week or last year!
