FOUR CARDINAL VIRTUES IN AN ENVIRONMENTAL CONTEXT •Thomas Aquinas proposed four primary Christian virtues: -justice, -prudence, -temperance, and -fortitude JUSTICE •Our duties, our ethical obligations to the natural world. •It requires a response from us, requires us to act justly, to take action to foster just relationships between people and the Earth.
