Finding your WHY that makes you cry
Each of the following may work as a tool for you or your candidates, They can do any one, but if
they don't find their motivation or inspiration, try another
1. Draw out the crossroad, share yours, ask theirs. 5 years, what would u like 2 see
2. 5 years / $300 million
3. "I Want" List with friend - brainstorm to BE, HAVE & DO (30 of each)
4. Bucket list
5. What do you want to do before you die?
6. The Passion Test
1.
What are two qualities I most love expressing in life?
2.
What are two ways I most love expressing those qualities?
3.
What would the world look like if it were perfect right now, according to me?
7. Ideal Life test
1.
Fill in this statement 16 times: "My life is ideal when I am _______________"
2.
Do a ranking playoff til you end up with your top 5 (if I could have only #1 or #2, I would
choose ____. Now you have #1 & 2 ranked, play them off against #3 etc)
8. Why that makes you cry:
1.
Take out a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type (I prefer
the latter because it’s faster).
2.
Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”
3.
Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete
sentence. A short phrase is fine.
4.
Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you cry.
9. Often times your why isn't what you want, so much as what you want to get rid of. If I could have
one wish, I would rid the world of _________________ because ____________________________
