I want to change the dowry system of our country, because it is a curse. Although in Islam, it is valid to
take gift from the bride side when it is given willingly. But it is not permissible to ask dowry forcefully.
Due to this evil system, many poor families cannot marry their daughters off. Firstly, we have to educate
the girls properly. So, they will not be burden for the society. Secondly, the outlooks of the groom need
to be changed. One day they will become parents too. Finally our government should forbid this evil
system.
