Has the internet made society better?
The Internet can be described as an international network of computers that can instantly obtain
information or answers to nearly any issue, share information from anywhere in the world, and
communicate across short or great distances.
The internet is indeed useful for society, we can access online databases and libraries, participate in
online courses, work together, locate tutorials and resources, and hold online classes thanks to the
internet. Also, we use it for online banking, education as well as for entertainment and sometimes we
use it for social impact too.
In today's world the internet has new ways for our research and education. We can access the vast
online libraries. Researchers, students and education and educators can locate a wealth of books,
articles, and other resources online by even leaving their homes. This implies that we can swiftly and
simply locate the information we require. Additionally, this raises the student's level of education and
increases their enthusiasm in learning.
Virtual classes and for learning programs the internet play a great role in it as well. We are unable to
attend a physical classroom at times, but we can attend classes online thanks to the internet! With the
use of special software and video calls, virtual classrooms are conducted as platforms such as Microsoft
team and zoom. We have internet access to chat and teachers and fellow students, precipitate in
conversations, and turn in homework's. Programs for distant learning and offered to those who are
unable to attend traditional classes. Likewise, it doesn't benefit only the educators and students but also
the management of business.
Speaking of how useful the internet is for society, there are several quite important drawbacks that they
need to know as well. One of the main drawbacks of the internet is that it is itself an addiction. People
have developed an addiction to initializing the internet over time. Teenagers that spend more time on
the internet utilizing social media for playing games are a clear example of this. They place a higher
importance on virtual lives than actual lives. In addition, it gives complexity and false information and its
unavailability due to different weather. The most dangerous one is that prone to cyber threats, cyberattacks and violations.
In addition to that, an individual who uses the internet a lot may encounter people who are abusive or
trolls. Cyberbullying is another problem that has been growing over the years. You may occasionally be
tracked online by hackers or unauthorized individuals who harm you by obtaining your personal
information. If you spend more time online, it will be simple for hackers to collect your personal
information through a verify of means. To conduct business without having to worry as much about
being caught, the deep web and hidden places on the internet can also serve as a haven for criminals.
Furthermore, there are many individuals who give criminals more ways to solicit their goods.
For those who access to, the internet is the most limitless sparse of information. The internet has
enabled us to communicate in seconds, whether it is with someone seated on another globe or with
thousands of people at once. But because so many people and organizations have bad intentions,
internet misuse is just as common as its benefits.
