Submitted on: May 22, 2024 I have always hoped to finish my studies with flying colors as much as I can, especially when I was in my senior highschool years. It all became possible because I started taking small steps by indulging in the feeling of being hopeful and positive about my academic achievements, that I wanted to study a medical-related degree, I once aspired to be a doctor, and I wanted to be happy and successful in life in the near future. So, I started setting my goals by listing down things that I want and plan to do. I pondered about what I really want to be and how I would like to realign life to a better path. I then trained myself to be disciplined first in doing my roles such as making a list of daily activities that I have to accomplish and making sure that I was productive. I set a time to study to prepare for multiple quizzes and exams. I started treating my senior highschool years seriously, but of course still having balance to not be burnt out and lose my drive. I gained support from my family and friends along this journey which made me pursue more what I had hoped for. Of course, there were times where I feel like I'm not improving or slowly slacking off so I had to take in practice what I've learned from my friends and classmates for me to try different learning styles and such. Lastly, I reassessed myself and kept on trying to work things out. The next thing I know, I'm already hoping for a successful college admission.
