Instructions
Choose a topic (All the FIVE research cards will be based on only one
topic).
 You need to choose your topic from the ones given below:
 String theory
 Job is better than business
 Space exploration
 Political chaos
 Effects of colonization
 Gather 5 related saying or quotes from five (5) authentic sources available e.g., book,
newspaper article, journal article, magazine, online website and YouTube video
etc.
 You may extract the exact quote, you may summarize the extract from specific source
or you may paraphrase the information that you want to cite.
 The way you refer to that specific book, magazine or article from which you have taken
specific quote, example or saying is called reference making.
 You need to go and look at the research card samples properly. If you have any
questions please ask your instructor to explain it to you.
 In those cards “in text” citation is given at the end of each citation. There is also a
complete reference at the end of each saying. Follow that particular style in order to
make your references. (APA Style)
You are supposed to submit 5 research cards.
