SCIENCE REFLECTION PAPER
My experience in the laboratory was fun compared to the others, as the first group of the g9 we
did enjoy our time as it was with fun people. We looked into microscopes that would have knobs
to focus, zoom, and adjust. We would also have different liquids to inspect as well as different
solids like a leaf, dirt, soil, water, egg, saliva, ear wax and egg embryo.
The first stop was to prepare so we had to use lab coats, goggles, and latex gloves. For me i used
my lab coat from cgp presenting animal bites and goggles for my basketball and swimming which
apparently has grade, and for the latex gloves it was hard to find but my mother had it on the
shelves. Anywasys we lined up and we were introduced to our first stop which is the microscopes i
didn't have much fun or experience there due to eye issue and big goggles so it was really blurry
regardless of the focus modes of the microscopes. But i'll tell you someone who enjoyed for sure
and his name is Justin Jade T. Almonte he really enjoyed looking through rolandos saliva mixed
with egg, vinegar, coke, salt water and everything else we had.
Next was the acidity levels of the liquids, what liquids were there? coke, salt water, apple juice,
vinegar, egg. There were strips to test the acidity levels of the liquids i really enjoyed this one
very fun especially when mixing different liquids. So what we would do is dip the strips into the
liquids and the strips would change color due to different acidity levels and lastly there was the
experiment of making fire in a beaker but i forgot how she did it so all i have to say about that was
wow that was nice.
