NARRATIVE REPORT S M A R T W A T E R I N F R A S T RU C T U RE AND MANAGEMENT SWIM R&D is a project proposal for NICER that aims to introduce innovative water management approaches thru institutionalizing a university-based water research center to undertake R&D education, capacity building programs in the water resources sector and river basins, and provide technical extension services. The center will be reinforcing the region on the problems of recurring water hazards due to inclement weather conditions, which bring subsequent damages to agricultural properties. The recent Typhoon Ulysses which stormed North-eastern part of Luzon in November last year, left around Php 2.7 billion worth of agricultural damages. Prepared by: Jeremy Ivan G. Aspiras Bachelor of Physical Education - 3 We were told that a new building will be opening soon. We were tasked to maintain and beautify the surroundings during the opening of the said building. This new building will serve as a hub for educating the community on how to mitigate the impact of such disasters and adapt to changing climate patterns. The center will offer workshops, seminars, and training sessions on sustainable farming practices, water conservation, and disaster preparedness. Additionally, it will provide a platform for local farmers to share their experiences and knowledge with one another, fostering a sense of solidarity and collaboration in the face of adversity. Together, we can work towards building a more resilient and sustainable future for our region. At first, we bought different pots to fit every size of bougainvillea. We tried looking for pots in Echague Public Market but failed. We were directed to the other public markets such as Alicia Public Market and Santiago Public Market. Thankfully, bougainvillea. we bought 16 large pots for the After bringing home the large pots, our next job is to put those flowers inside the pots. After hours of planting, we all successfully filled the pots and is ready to be transported at the new building. The next step in our gardening adventure is carefully selecting the perfect spot for each potted flower. With the sun shining brightly overhead, we gently place each pot in its designated area, creating a vibrant display of colors and fragrances. As we stand back to admire our handiwork, a sense of pride and accomplishment washes over us. The flowers seem to brighten the entire space, infusing it with beauty and life. With the pots now in place, we eagerly anticipate the joy they will bring to all who pass by our new building.
