He specializes in the diagnosis of complex electrical testing procedures and the strategic development of state-of-the-art transformer testing technology. Diego is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of CIGRE USA, a member of the IEEE/PES Transformers Committee, and a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute (PMI), he served as General Chairman for the IEEE/DEIS 2020 and 2022 Electrical Insulation Conference. He is the author and co-author of over 50 technical articles related to power, distribution, and instrument transformer condition assessment. Diego received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University while researching power system optimization with a focus on aging equipment. Hussain Al-Juffairi Has joined Megger in 2008 as an Application Engineer focusing more on Transformer and Circuit breakers testing. Specialized in providing induction training in operation of test equipment, and performs chargeable training courses for major utilities, industrials, and contractors across ME in the field of test and measurement. In 2013, he moved to Fluke BV as Technical Support Manager for ME region focusing more into Power quality measurement, Thermal camera (Level 2 certified), Vibration and process calibrator. He moved back to Megger in 2019 as a Technical Services Manager focusing mainly on Services and online monitoring testing. Matt Pinard Matt Plnard is the Monitor Product Manager at Megger, based out of their Phoent ville, PA facity, He has over 10 years of experience in the power transformer industry, with much of that time spent in the field as an Applications Engineer for monitoring equipment. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY and is a Member of IHEE. Hameed Shehab is a highly skilled Electrical Engineer, currently serving as the Transformer and Rotating Machine segment manager at Megger Limited in the Middle East. With a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bahrain, Hameed demonstrates a solid foundation in high-voltage power systems. Joining Megger Limited in June 2021 as an Application Engineer. His role involves providing exceptional technical support, conducting product demonstrations, and developing and maintaining technical knowledge of industry trends by writing technical papers. Jaffer Aldurazi earned his Electrical Degree from the University of Bahrain in 2013 before starting his career at Megger as an Application Engineer. His passion for testing and commissioning, coupled with a talent for business development, propelled him to his current role as an Area Sales & Application Manager at Megger Middle East. With extensive experience in testing transformers and GIS systems, Jaffar continues to lead with excellence, delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients across the region. Hani Kamal While working as an Electrical Testing Engineer at Al Fanar, Hani has gained extensive experience in testing transformers as well as conducting power station testing. he holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University, where he received a comprehensive education in the field. His knowledge and skills have been honed through years of hands-on experience and is dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and efficiency in his work.
