OBJECTIVE: By the end of learning experience in this lesson pupils should be able to;

Understand the concept of religious moral codes and their influence on behavior.

Identify and explore different religious texts as sources of moral codes.

Analyze and compare the characteristics and teachings of various religious texts.
RATIONALE:
By teaching about the sources of religious moral codes, the lesson aims to help grade 8 students develop
a deeper understanding of the moral values and principles upheld by different religious traditions. It
encourages respect for religious diversity, critical thinking, and reflection on personal beliefs and
values.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE: Learners have a general understanding of the concepts Moral and
