Dear Sir/Madam,
I was pleased to learn of your opening for a Part-Time Customer Care Specialist in the USA posted
through online. I am currently a teacher at Balas National High School here in the Philippines,
where I have 7 years of teaching experience in English, Social Studies, Values Education, and
Technology and Livelihood Education to 200 more or fewer students in Junior High School
through grade 7 to grade 10. Therefore, I am applying to your academe because I believe that I am
a person with less supervision and dedication to the profession. It boosts my self-confidence to
apply because of my wide teaching experience both in my field of specialization and other
academic subjects.
I am OSMAN GUINDOL LUMBOS a 39-year-old bachelor currently residing in the Philippines.
I graduated with the degree of Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English at Southern
Peninsula College in the Philippines.
I continually earned my postgraduate degree in Master of Arts in English at Mindanao
Autonomous College Foundation, Philippines. I only earned a Complete Academic Requirements
and was not able to make my master’s thesis due to some errand works in my current teaching and
aside from that the distance between my work and my study.
I also gained different pieces of training and seminars to hone my interpersonal relationship with
my students and my colleagues. Through this, I was able to upgrade my teaching strategies and
classroom management skills. I learned also how to adopt change/ or challenge in accomplishing
the different tasks and was able to top in any submissions. I am also firm in decision makings to
come up with a good result. I can also work harmoniously with my colleagues.
I am always willingly eager to learn more about teaching the English Language, reading up on
relevant topics during free time to be constantly dated with current and more effective teaching
trends, particularly in this time of pandemic situation. I am going to bring passion to sharing
knowledge with my students coupled with emotional and physical emotions because the teacher
serves as the second parent of the learners. I am very much confident that the experience and the
skills I had will bring me closer to your academe and perfect for this position with your kind
consideration.
