About this Challenge
In this challenge, you will have your robot traverse a distance of four meters (as close to a
designated mark as possible) in a straight line and come to a complete and final stop without any
external intervention. Use only the components of your kit, other pre-agreed-to materials. The
EV3 program can only contain 5 or 10 complete rotations of the motors. You may modify the
EV3 robot as you deem necessary. For the initial challenge, do not use any additional
programming or sensors. Your teacher may choose to redo the challenge using the computer
programming of the EV3 controller or sensors.
Once the challenge is completed, you will be asked to explain your results mathematically and to
justify your design modifications.
