Cada nuevo release de R12 es un nuevo package
es llamado RUP (Release Update Pack)
 Acutalmente R12 tiene las siguentes versiones de
RUPs 12.0.1, 12.0.2, 12.0.3, 12.0.4, 12.0.5, 12.0.6
 Oracle libera un nuevo RUP cada 3 meses y
coincide con el CPU (Critical Patch Update)
 RUPs puede contener ”stub applications”,
performance, mejoras y nuevas funcionalidades
 MetaLink publica todos los cambios contenidos en
el RUP

