1. What are the purposes of education? Which one is the most important? Which is the least important?



We have five purpose of education namely, content knowledge,skills, habits of success, realworld experiences and social capital and health and wellness
I think the most important among five purpose of education is the content knowledge. Basically
content knowledge covers the ideas and concepts and it also gives emphasis on the academic
achievement. Content knowledge is the baseline of the rest purpose of education. You cannot
acquire the rest of purpose of education without enough knowledge especially those concepts
and ideas that is fundamental to Education. Acquisition of knowledge plays a vital role in
education.
I think the least important among the purpose of education is health and wellness because
pandemic is not lifelong, it will end soon. Although pandemic had gave a stess on education setp. Especially the shifting of modes of learning which burdens the most the student who has no
access to internet like in the remote areas. And nowadays we are now in a normal set-up of
learning or to be known as back to normal. To acknowledge the impact of COVID-19 thanks to
this because we learn in a flexible learning and alternative way of learning especially we arrived
to experience the technological tools.
2. Why education is important to globalization?

Education is important to globalization because as is illustrated here, the ways of
conceptualizing globalization. The effects of Globalization on education bring faster
developments in technology and communications are foreseeing changes within school systems
across the world as ideas, values and knowledge, changing the roles of students and teachers,
and producing a shift in society from industrialization. Moreover, through globalization we learn
and adapt certain skills, innovation and knowledge globally, by that we can now globally
competitive. There are alot of opportunities that has to offer if we are being globalized and it
give chance to every people arround the world share their expertise that will help in building our
nation. Especially now we are now in advancement of technology which is technology is the now
part of our everyday living.
3. How related is education to economy? Is the relationship one-way or two-way?

Education equips people with the knowledge and abilities needed to engage in the workforce
and support economic expansion. A population with a high level of education is necessary for
the growth of a robust and competitive economy. In addition, education is essential for fostering
social mobility and lowering poverty. The relationship of is two-way because according to sthe
study of JacobMincer in 1974 , known as the Mincer Education. This relates workers'
earnings(seen as a way of measuring their productivity) with their years of schooling and work
experience. It goes without saying that equating a worker's education with their years of
schooling is highly flawed since it assumes that , for instance, one additional year of primary
education has the same effecton worker's productivity as an additional year of university
education. Neither does it take into account possible differences in the quality of the education
received, particularly relevant for analyses carried out with the data from the countries.
4. Present at least five importance of foundations of education.
1. One cannot fully discover a child's full potential if one only emphasize on completing the set of
curriculum and content.
2. When children are given sufficient time and space to build strong foundation with respect to
skill development, it paves the way a future where they can make decisions and continue to be
critical, creative thinkers and doers.
3. Need to emphasize on building strong foundation in terms of activities such as playing, singing,
runnin and painting. These activities may be said to be simple activities but their role in a child's
learning foundation is indispensable. They play a role in building important cognitive, social and
emotional skills.
4. Play is something that cannot be ignored or not given preference in a child's life. It is essential
activity of childhood. And it not helps in physical wellness but also helps build reasonability and
deeper thinking capacity.
5. Students should be equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to be life ready.
5. Critique on the Philippine Special Education Program.
Education is one of the essential needs of a person next to food, clothing, and shelter. Itplays an
important role in the world as a whole. It is the key to progress, innovation, andbetterment of all. It has
been empowering people ever since.
In the Philippines, teaching kids with special needs in a way that takes into account their unique
needs and differences is known as special education. In an ideal world, this process would entail the
individually planned and methodically observed arrangement of instructional strategies, modified tools
and resources, and accessible environments. These interventions are intended to support students with
special needs in reaching greater levels of success in the classroom and in their communities.
There are several challenges facing inclusive education in the Philippines. These challenges include
general social conditions that impact education, a dearth of educational resources, and insufficient
training and experience in special education. Inequitable and inadequate household income is a
contributing factor to concerns about equity, inclusion, and access in higher education. There are
additional challenges for faculty members when it comes to teaching students with special needs and
addressing their learning demands in regular sessions. The Philippine educational system continues to
face challenges despite advancements and endeavors.
One of the most pressing social challenges in special education is the perennial issue of funding
shortages. Many special education programs struggle with inadequate financial resources, which can
impede the provision of necessary services and support for students with disabilities
