torrential rain, flooding, landslides, high winds,
thunderstorms and related storm surge, especially
during the rainy season between June and
November. Typhoons are one of the most dangerous
natural hazards.
So based on the graphic we have;

typhoon Yolanda that hits the Philippines last
November, 2013 The graphic on the right side was
the actual effect of the said typhoon and took 6300

It is simply the movement of warm and cold air
across the globe. These movement are know as low
pressure systems and high pressure systems.
What are the four iweather system in the
Philippines?
1. Cyclone – It is a large and violent whirlwind
observe in different parts of the earth.
2. Breeze – It is the winds that blows on to the shore
from the sea during day time and a way from the
shore during night time.
3. Monsoon – It is a breeze in a large scale. Here in
the Philippine we have a two types of monsoon the
first one is southwest monsoon and the second is
north east monsoon (Amihan)
4. Intertropical Convergence zoon (ITCZ)
It is a group of clouds that bring weak to moderate
rains and few thunderstorms.
It can change from time to time and may vary in different
locations.
What are the different weather disturbances?
1. Tropical Cyclones
It is an intense circular storm that originates over
warm tropical oceans and is characterized by low
atmospheric pressure, high winds, and heavy rains.
What are the different classifications of tropical
cyclone .
a. Tropical Depressions (TD)
A tropical cyclone with maximum sustained winds
of up to 61 kilometers per hour (KPH)
b. Tropical storm (TS)
A tropical cyclone with maximum wind 62 to 88
(kph)
c. Super Typhoon
A topical cyclone with maximum wind speed
exceeding 220 kph

What are the safety precautions before, during and
after a typhoon?

rolled paper you will pick one after that you will go
to your groupmates.
The two paper there’s something writer a safety

and the group two will selected after.
You will going to perform here in front each group
what will do during typhoon and the other one group
is after typhoon safety precaution.
I will give you 5 minutes to practice without making
noise or disturbing other group. Do you understand?
