Hi Class,
Through my work experience, I learned the importance of bringing other
people into preparation discussions to gain diverse perspectives and to
gather support. Practicing voicing your values does increase the
possibility that you will speak up. We can also define areas or topics that
are important to us or topics that we are passionate about and create a
list of workplace items that align with our passions. Then look for
opportunities to get involved in those areas, or watch for promotions that
align with those passions. These are opportunities to get involved and
shape the direction of the organization to increase sharing values with
co-workers.
