In many countries around the world, rural people are moving to cities, so the
population in the countryside is decreasing.
Do you think this is a positive or a negative development
Negative >
1- cities are overcrowded
- air pollution
- incidence of disease ( mental problems disconnection from nature)
2-decreasing in agricultural products
-lack of food
-work force
Over the last decades people tend to emigrate to cities due to many personal,
economical , social , etc. reasons. This trend associated with overcrowding
urban areas and inversely lack of population in rural region. I personally
believe that definitely it has a negative effects on our environment and human
health.
To begin, the more the cities become overcrowded the more danger might
enter people’s life.To have a better explanation, individuals abounded their
farms to acquire better quality of life in convenience way, whereas nowadays
the air pollution estimation states at the highest point which definitely have
negative impacts on cardiovascular and respiratory systems even if we do not
see psychological aspects of disconnection from nature. Moreover, in terms of
hygiene, people are gathering in crowded public areas which increase the level
of disease incidence as we all experienced this terrible condition in 2020 with
covid. However, people in rural area could managed this disease more easily.
To respond this tendency for living in urban areas, human must expand the
cities and their infrastructures which contributed to destroy our environment.
For instance, cutting trees to build new roads or extract more minors to
contract new towers and apartments. Furthermore , threatening our natural
habitants and biodiversities.
In conclusion, emigration to cities from rural areas will disadvantage human
health and surrounded environment. The se two factors always should be
prioritized by governments to protect human generations.
