OLYMPIADS are a critical source to give your child the exposure of the competitive world. These not only develop an interest in studies in
children but also inculcate the habit of applying theoretical knowledge.
These exams are scientifically designed diagnostic tests in which questions are based more on application than on knowledge. Hence, the level
of questions is slightly higher than the school level. So, for getting good marks in these kind of exams, you need to clear your concepts first.
Five steps to excel in these Olympiads:
1. Prepare a timetable : Preparing a timetable and scheduling your time will save you from time wastage or giving extra focus on only
one subject. So, make a timetable, give equal time to each subject, in order to avoid mastering only one and leaving others aside.
2. Read good resource books : A good resource book is like a good mentor, giving you the right direction. Most trusted Olympiad
Workbook Series and Olympiad Prep-Guides, are resources that help students in gaining mastery of concepts, building proficiency
in reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills. Smart Series for Science, Maths, English, Computer and G.K., etc. are good resources
for theory. Clear your concepts and try to do all the exercises given in the books.
3. Keep revising at regular intervals : Revise at regular intervals to refresh your learnings.
4. Practice Model Test Papers : After reading a chapter, do as many questions as you can. The pattern of questions is objective (MCQs)
type and students at school level are not habitual to this pattern. So, more and more practice of MCQs will take you one step ahead in
your Olympiad preparation. For practice you may go for MTG's other products like OSDS, Workbooks, Prep-Guides, etc. For online practice
you may check our online testing platform, SOF Olympiad Trainer. It is available as web and mobile application.
5. Solve Previous Years’ Papers : Previous years’ papers are important as they give the exact idea of level and pattern of questions that
are asked in the exams. Hence, attempting these papers is a must. The icing on the cake is to get an opportunity to practice on OMR
sheets. This will prove very useful in improving the skill needed to attempt the actual paper later.
Remember, that Rome was not built in a day. Hence, preparation on the last day will not help you in achieving rank 1 and win rewards.
However, consistent study from day one will surely bring success.

Vultures may not be considered as beautiful birds. However, they play an important

Vultures protect the environment and human beings from deadly diseases. If any
dead body remains in the environment even for a short period of time, bacteria would
grow. These bacteria are tiny organisms that cannot be seen with the human eye and
can make animals and humans sick. Vultures remove carcasses of animals quickly
before bacteria has time to grow. Additionally, their stomach contains a strong acid
that helps in destroying these harmful bacteria they eat.
Unfortunately, there are some poisons found in dead bodies that are deadly to
vultures. These poisons have been responsible for the majority of vulture deaths
for the last 40 years. There have been so many deaths that vultures are now on the
list of endangered animals.
The future of vultures is an issue across the globe. Some of these deaths are
accidental, but vultures have also been poisoned on purpose.

Almost 30 years ago in the United States, the California condor population was
reduced to 22 birds. California condors are vultures whose wingspans can reach
upto three meters, or almost ten feet. They were accidentally poisoned by lead
bullets in carcasses of animals left behind by hunters. Condors accidentally ate the
lead bullets and died.
Mr

Conservation has been effective. People around the world are working to prevent
their extinction. Even though there are now more than 400 birds, the California
condor is still considered as one of the rarest birds on the Earth.

pot of milk. He boiled the milk, drank some of it and put the remaining milk in
the pot. He added little bit of curd in the pot for converting the milk into curd.
Mr

He then lied down to sleep.
Soon, he started dreaming while he was asleep. He was dreaming that if he could
become rich somehow, all his miseries would be gone. His thoughts now turned
towards the pot of milk which he had set to form curd. He continued dreaming;
“By morning the pot of milk would set, it would be converted to curd. I would
churn the curd and make butter from it. I would heat the butter and make ghee
out of it. I will then go to the market and sell that ghee, and make some money.
With that money I will buy a hen. The hen will lay eggs which will hatch and there
will be many chickens. These chickens will in turn lay hundreds of eggs and I will
soon have a poultry farm of my own.” He kept on dreaming.

Everyone in the town will buy milk from me. I will be very rich and soon I shall

handsome son. If he will do any mischief I will be very angry and to teach him a
lesson, I will hit him with a big stick.” During this dream, he involuntarily picked up

The first woman to travel in space was Soviet cosmonaut, Valentina Tereshkova.
She was born on 6 March 1937, in the village of Bolshoye Maslennikovo in central
Russia. Her mother was a textile worker, and her father was a tractor driver who
was later recognised as a war hero during the Second World War. At the time of his
death on the Finnish front, Tereshkova was only two years old.
After leaving school, Tereshkova followed her mother into work at a textile factory.
Her first adventure of flying was when she joined a local skydiving and parachutist
club. It was her hobby of jumping out of planes that appealed to the Soviets’ space
programme committee. On applying to the cosmonaut corps, Tereshkova was
eventually chosen from more than 400 other candidates.
nti
Da
Tereshkova received 18 months of severe training with the Soviet Air Force after her
selection. These tests studied her abilities to cope physically under the extremes
of gravity, as well as handle challenges such as emergency management and the
isolation of being in space alone. At the age of 24, she was honourably inducted
into the Soviet Air Force. On 16 June 1963, Tereshkova was launched on a solo
mission aboard the spacecraft, Vostok 6. She spent more than 70 hours orbiting the
Earth, two years after Yuri Gagarin’s first human-crewed flight in space. Tereshkova
still holds the title of the youngest and the only woman to have been on a solo space
mission.

Today, she holds the position of Deputy Chair for the Committee for International
Affairs in Russia. She also remains active within the space community and is quoted
as suggesting that she would like to fly to Mars - even if it were a one-way trip.

A tiny mouse was born between two bags of corn kernels in a cargo ship’s hold.
Her mother had been chased away and had disappeared out-of-view. Frightened,
the baby mouse snuggled between the bags and waited. The waves rocked the
vessel gently and she soon fell asleep.
A loud horn startled her out of her dreams. The ship stopped, and many voices
were heard, along with the footsteps going back and forth.
Da
The baby mouse stood still, her heart pounding like a drum roll, until someone
lifted up one of the bags and yelled, “Marcos, hand me the broom. I have found
another mouse!”
al
ka
nti
As he turned to look at the mouse again, she had disappeared. She was already
making her way out of the ship, scurrying between people’s legs, down the ramp
and onto the dock. Someone stepped on her tail, but she managed to escape.
Mr
in
The baby mouse stopped running and looked around. The warm sand felt good
under her paws. The salty wind blew gently between her ears, carrying dolphins’
conversations and seagulls’ cries.
The baby mouse could see the ship from far away. She watched as sailors,
appearing to be the size of corn kernels, went up and down the ramp, carrying
wooden cases and other supplies.
The baby mouse realized how hungry she was. She nibbled on a seaweed and
spat it back out. She was lucky enough to find a plump, juicy berry to fill up her
minuscule stomach. She lingered a bit longer to watch the sunset, reflecting on
the sea in a million colours, and then yawned.
Using a piece of sea sponge as a pillow, the little mouse snuggled in an empty
seashell and drifted off to sleep. That was the beginning of her new life as a sea mouse.

He said to her, “Don’t worry. I’m here to help you. My name is John William.”

When he was finished, the lady asked him how much she owed him. He responded
by telling her that if she really wanted to repay him, she could pass on the kindness
to someone else in their time of need.
Later that evening the lady stopped at a small, dingy cafe. The waitress who served
her was pregnant and tired. Despite her apparent exhaustion, the waitress was very
sweet and friendly.
The lady wondered how someone who was so tired from a long day of work could
still be so friendly and kind to her.

Then she remembered John. When the lady finished her meal, she paid with a
hundred dollar bill. The waitress went to get change and when she came back, the
lady was gone.

me, just like I’m helping you now. If you really want to pay me back, do not let this

The waitress found five one hundred dollar bills under the napkin.
That night, the waitress went home early. She thought about the lady and the money
she left. She wondered how the lady could possibly know how much they needed it.
She knew her husband was worried and she was worried about him. She couldn’t
wait to tell him the good news.

Most people would shudder at the idea of getting caught up in a 73.5-feet wave.
But for Brazilian pro-surfer Maya, it presented the perfect opportunity to break her
2018 world record for the largest wave surfed by a female. The athlete skillfully
conquered the massive wave earlier this year, at the inaugural World Surf League
(WSL) Nazaré Tow Surfing Challenge in Praia do Norte, Portugal. It was the same
site where she made her first world record by riding an equally intimidating
68-feet wave.

“I was in the zone and braver than I usually am on that day,” said Gabeira. “I was
risking more than I usually like to do. When I let go of the rope, I had a feeling
it could be the one but wasn’t sure. The speed was very high, but the noise that
the wave made when it broke made me realize that this was probably the biggest
wave I’d ever ridden.”
Though Gabeira completed the incredible feat on February 11, 2020, her record
was not announced by the Guinness World Records until September 10, 2020.
That’s because the WSL officials had to first determine whether it was the Brazilian
surfer or her competitor, Justine Dupont, who had ridden the largest wave. The
wave’s height from trough to crest is usually estimated with the help of photos and
videos. However, the proximity of the large swells ridden by the two pro-surfers,
and the possibility of a new world record being established, warranted a more
rigorous analysis.

“Huh! You cannot expect me to go hungry. Eggs are what I eat,” replied the snake,
in a nasty tone.
The crow felt angry and she thought, “I must teach that snake a lesson.”
The very next day, the crow was flying over the King’s palace. She saw the princess
wearing an expensive necklace. Suddenly a thought flashed in her mind and she
swooped down, picked up the necklace in her beak and flew off to her nest.
When the princess saw the crow flying off with her necklace, she screamed, “Somebody
help, the crow has taken my necklace.”
Da
Soon the palace guards were running around in search of the necklace. Within a
short time the guards found the crow. She still sat with the necklace hanging from
her beak.

The clever crow thought, “Now is the time to act.” And she dropped the necklace,
which fell right into the snake’s pit.

Bison stand some 5 to 6.5 feet tall at the shoulder, and can weigh over a ton.
Despite their massive size, bison are quick on their feet. When the need arises
they can run at speeds up to 40 miles an hour. They sport curved, sharp horns
that may grow to be two feet long.
These large grazers feed on plains’ grasses, herbs, shrubs and twigs. They
regurgitate their food and chew it as cud before final digestion.
An estimated 20 to 30 million bison once dominated the North American
landscape from the Appalachians to the Rockies, from the Gulf Coast to
Alaska. Habitat loss and unregulated shooting reduced the population to
just 1,091 by 1889. Today, approximately 500,000 bison live across North
America. Fewer than 30,000 wild bison are in conservation herds and fewer
than 5,000 are unfenced and disease-free.
Bison are adapted to the extreme weather conditions of the Great Plains, from
summer heat to winter cold and blizzards. In winter, bison can dig through deep
snow with their heads to reach the vegetation below.
nti

Bison often rub, roll and wallow. Wallowing creates a saucer-like depression in
the earth called a wallow. This was once a common feature of the plains; usually
these wallows are dust bowls without any vegetation.

Painting is not just for the professionals. Painting can be a pastime or a hobby
too; and pursued for the satisfaction of simply trying something different. It is a
great way to learn a new craft.
Experts recommend that for a beginner, oil painting is the best way to get started.
One of the reasons for this is you can make any changes quickly. Mixing colours
and getting the right shade is quite a fascinating thing on its own. You only need
three primary colours red, blue and yellow other than white and black to create
the shade of your choice. For example, if you want green you mix blue and yellow
in varying proportion to get your desired shade, be it olive green or lime green.
You can take a break and get back to your painting anytime to continue with
it. Another thing about oil painting is that it looks genuine, revealing the brush
strokes and the genius of the artist.

Da
The first thing that you need is to decide a medium where to paint, on paper,
cloth, etc., then you need an easel to support and help you secure the painting
while you work on it. Easels can be tilted to avoid glare on the canvas. You will
also need a paint box, a sketching stool unless you plan to stand and draw.
Then palette knives for mixing different colours and also for scrapping off paint
from your palette or canvas in case you need to. And some good soft charcoal
pencils that you can use to make your sketches.
Painting attracts so many people today of all ages. Most people like the idea
of painting something of beauty and feeling good about being able to say they
painted it. Painting as a hobby can be therapeutic for people suffering from
stress and anxiety. It can be an escape into another world, a world of calm. It
can be done as group projects or solo activity. It is also a unique and sweet
gesture to gift paintings.

1. Anna didn’t care about Christmas gifts or decorating Christmas trees. She did
not wish for Santa or a new toy. For 6 year old Anna eating marshmallows without
her mother breathing down her neck was more important than the holiday season.
She had been counting days on her little fingers when Halloween will come and
when she will be the official owner of her own sweets with various choices.

2. Anna was busy counting her Halloween harvest. This year she had gone one
block extra because she was no longer a baby who cried when the street light flickers
at night. Yes, there were times when she thought she might drop her candy basket
and run home to her mother crying but this year Anna decided to become a big girl
and earn extra sweets for herself without her big sister or mother accompanying
her.
3. Proud of herself for not letting the street lights scare her, Anna opened a caramel
candy and popped it in her mouth as a reward. “Ann…I’ve to rush to the supermarket
to get some groceries, it will take me a while okay…you hear me dear?” Anna instantly
replied “Yes, mom!” Anna went back to counting her candies from Halloween when
suddenly she remembered her mother saying, “it will take me a while”. Anna staring
at her marshmallow collection started wondering what if she finished it all before
her mother comes back?

4. Usually when she eats more than 3 pieces her mother gives her the look, first
the look, than the full name and lastly the “no more candies for ten days as a
punishment”. A sudden impulse took over her and she started filling her mouth with
marshmallows. First went the pink ones, then the yellow then the white. She was
giggling internally thinking there’s no one to give her the disapproving look. Anna
thought to chew them at once and relish it all. The only problem was she couldn’t
move her jaw! She tried a few movements but she had stuffed too many of them.
Her mouth hurt.

5. After 5 brave seconds Anna broke into tears in pain and frustration. But no one
was in the house. Thinking about this made Anna’s tears roll faster. Now she missed
her mother’s glare. It was not until an hour later her mother came home, by the time
Anna had enough time to count the numbers of marshmallows she stuffed in her
mouth. “8!” she thought to herself. It took her only eight of them to make her hate
marshmallows for life.
16. The reason Anna was excited for the holiday season was because ____________.
A. she could decorate the Christmas tree

1. Fiona walked across the kitchen to the far end where she saw a door leading
to the backyard of the house. When she tried to open the door to the back she
struggled because it was locked. She thought that this was strange because it
had never been locked before and she had no idea where the key was. There was
music playing in the background and she noticed that it was her father’s favourite
song about a cowboy or something; it wasn’t a tune that she particularly favoured.

the house on the veranda with her uncle and aunty. It turned out that her mother
was with them and that she had left the key on the table in the kitchen. Fiona
went back and checked but couldn’t find it. She looked around and eventually
found it on the sideboard next to the fruit bowl.
3. When Fiona eventually got outside into the back garden, it had started to rain
lightly and it made the garden look like a movie set. She set up her table and got
her tea and book and sat down to relax. As she did, she heard a loud banging
noise coming from over the wall. This was not good, and it was really vexing her
and ruining her quiet time. Fiona decided to text her neighbour who was in the
same year as her at school. She asked what all the noise was about and how
long it would last. There was no reply to her text, so she packed up and went

Recent research in London, England, has been investigating why dogs lick humans
in the face. Yuck! This horrible habit upsets most people and is considered
dangerously dirty by many others. In the UK, people seem to love their dogs. They
let dogs sleep in the house, eat from the table, and often sit on beds and sofas.
So, it is clear that many of the Europeans are mad about dogs.

The research suggests the reason why dogs would lick their owner or other people
in the face. In the past, it was assumed that dogs do this only to get food, water
or perhaps even a walk outside. Now, it is believed that dogs react to the behaviour
of their owners.
Animals have lived with humans for a very long time, long before we had a written
history and long before we had the science to understand much about them. Dogs
have been used for a long time to help people with visual disabilities, cats are
taken into care homes for elderly people, rabbits are used in hospitals to make
kids happy and even emus are used as emotional support pets in America.
Da
It is no surprise then that there is more to the behaviour of dogs than we fully
understand. It is now believed that dogs understand the different faces people have
for example, a happy face with smiles and open eyes will make your dog happy
and often want to play. The same is true for when people wear their angry faces.
The dog will see this and try – by licking – to make them happy again.

In general, people cut their fingernails about once a week. Sometimes people do
it more or less frequently, but most people try to make sure their nails are clean
and short. In a recent ceremony, a man cut his fingernails for the first time in 66
years. It is hard to even imagine but the man from Pune was happy to have the
nails on his left hand cut and immortalised on display for others to see for at
least 100 years.

Da
Shridhar Chillal had not cut his nails on his left hand since he was 16 years old
back in 1952, now at 82 he has decided it is time. The longest of his nails was
his thumbnail that measures 197.8 centimetres! In total, if you added all the nails
up, they nearly reached 910 centimetres in length.

He did have some health issues because of his extra-long nails. Chillal lost the
feeling in his left hand because he could no longer use it and he lost the hearing
in his left ear too. This was because the nails were so heavy, the weight damaged
his nerves on his left side.
After the ceremony, Chillal has decided to donate his nails to a museum. They will
be on display at different places around the world but will mostly be on display
in central New York. There will be an extravaganza explaining the life of Chillal
at the grand opening of the display. Many people are very excited at the thought

Nobody likes travelling in a hot car, especially in the summer. If you are lucky you
may have AC, but many cars either don’t have ACs that work or don’t have them
at all. So, like most people when you get hot and stuffy you open the window
to let in the passing air.

Now, what do you do if you are in an airplane? Well the easiest answer is to ask
a crew member or try to reach the AC yourself. They are quite high on the ceiling
of an airplane, which makes it difficult to reach for most people.
Recently, there have been two examples of what can happen when new travellers
try to cool themselves down. One man said he had been feeling hot and needed
some air for hours on a long flight. He got so warm that he decided to pull the
handle next to him and below the window. He thought this would wind the window
down. What happened next was a big shock. The whole door fell away from the
plane. He panicked, but the plane landed safely, and no one was hurt. He got
arrested and given a very big fine of around $11,000.
A second man did something very similar but this time it was before the plane
had even taken off. He said that he needed a bit of fresh air before they left so
that he wouldn’t feel sick on the journey. The crew removed him from the plane
and gave him a smaller fine of $500. The airplane was delayed by only 1 hour.

The moral behind these stories is probably that one should always read the
instructions or ask someone for help in situations that are new and confusing. I
think we all get baffled sometimes when we find ourselves in brand new places.

FOR QUESTIONS 21 TO 25, READ THE PASSAGE AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT
FOLLOW.
A young man from the south of England has decided to ignore modern fast fashion
and instead only ever wears clothes from the 1800s. He burnt his last pair of
jeans when he was 14 and has dressed as a gentleman from the Regency era
ever since. He often goes shopping in a top hat in his hometown of Brighton,
and now designs clothes for other history fans too. He says it is the only way
he feels comfortable in the 21st century.
Da
At the age of 14, he had to wear school uniform most of the time. On non-school
uniform days he would dress in three-piece suits. As a senior he didn’t have to
wear uniform and chose to wear his flamboyant clothes to school. He was quite
surprised when he was voted as the best dressed in the leaver’s book.
al
ka
nti
He says his obsession with historical clothes started when his family moved home
as a teenager, and they found a box full of his great-grandfather’s old suits. He
found the period clothing fitted him well and began wearing them as much as
he could.
Mr
in
Over the years he has gained a huge online following with close to 40,000
adoring fans subscribed so far. They all like keeping up to date with his period
tailoring. For him, a typical day involves dressing as an 1820’s gent, wearing a
pair of knee-high leather riding boots, a floral waistcoat and a riding jacket with
long tails just like a cape. It has been at least a decade since he has worn any
modern clothing and the only time he can remember doing so was when he was
invited to an 80s themed costume party.
It is amazing that his mother allowed him to be so eccentric and was understanding
enough when he was younger to allow him to start his very different choice in
dress.

Travelling was always something Peter had wanted to do and as he got older he
began to plan. He decided that he must leave his home in Asia to get a good sense
of the world. He thought that he should probably try and visit each continent. He
sat down in front of his laptop and listed the continents: Oceania, Asia, Europe,
Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica. Some of the continents he knew,
but he was shocked to see that the closest continent he could visit was Africa.
He had thought that it was a long way away.
It looked like planning this would be fun. When he looked at different maps of the
world it turned out that there were different quantities and names of the continents
which confused him a lot. Before he continued he asked his father’s advice about
how many continents there were. His father told him that for them, in their schools,
they were taught that there were 7 continents. And although some other countries
taught that there were 6 or 5, and that he should stick to what he understood for
this project of his.

For the purpose of travel, Peter decided that he would use the system he knew,
and this meant he would have to visit 6 more continents. He looked at the maps
of the world and decided that he could go and visit his uncle in Africa and then
his sister and her family in Europe really easily. He took this idea to his father who
agreed with him although he thought it would be simpler to go east to Oceania.
Peter knew that this was just because Oceania was where his father had always
wanted to go because his brother lived there.

She chose to go and find her mother who she thought might be at the front of
the house on the veranda with her uncle and aunty. It turned out that her mother
was with them and that she had left the key on the table in the kitchen. Fiona
went back and checked but couldn’t find it. She looked around and eventually
found it on the sideboard next to the fruit bowl.
When Fiona eventually got outside into the back garden it had started to rain
lightly and it made the garden look like a movie set. She set up her table and got
her tea and book and sat down to relax. As she did she heard a loud banging
noise coming from over the wall. This was not good, and it was really vexing her
and ruining her quiet time. Fiona decided to text her neighbour who was in the

long it would last. There was no reply to her text, so she packed up and went

On my way home from school last week, I saw a really strange animal run across
the road and into the field at the back of my house. I call it a field, but it is just
a piece of ground where nobody has built a house yet. It has tall grass and a few
trees, but mostly it is covered in thick green undergrowth. I tried to get into the
bushes last summer, but they were too thick, and I couldn’t even chop my way in.

The animal I saw was fast and dark coloured. I didn’t see it for very long because
it was so speedy. But I’m sure, it had fur and, wasn’t a reptile of any kind which
is good news because I’m afraid of lizards and snakes. There had been reports
that there was a tiger nearby and my mother was worried about it. It definitely
wasn’t a tiger because it was too small and the wrong colour.
Da
Just as I was about to see if I could find a way into the bushes again, my
neighbour came running down the road. I was surprised because he was quite
old, and I had never seen him move quicker than a slow walk before. He stopped
and caught his breath. It was a few seconds before he had enough breath to ask
me if I had seen his new pet dog. I was sure but told him what I had seen. He
was pleased and ran towards the field shouting after his dog. I couldn’t believe
it, but soon enough a small black puppy came out of the bushes and jumped
into the waiting arms of its delighted owner.

Choosing which country to visit is really difficult. I do not know which one I want
to visit but I know I want to see some exciting wildlife. Ideally, I’d like to go to
the Amazon rainforest, but they speak Portuguese in Brazil where the Amazon is,
and I cannot speak any Portuguese. A part of my plan is to practice the French
language I am learning at school. So, I really should visit a French speaking country.
I have spent quite a lot of time after school researching countries on the Internet.
I have learned a lot about the Galapagos Islands, that are a part of Ecuador, and
they have some amazing wildlife on them. Giant tortoises look really interesting.
However, they speak Spanish there, so I am continuing my search for another
wildlife rich and exciting nation.
nti
Da
After creating a spreadsheet containing the pros and cons of many countries, I
finally settled on Cameroon. There are so many exciting creatures to see in the
jungles there. In addition, and something I am really interested in, is the fact that
there are many organisations in Cameroon that specialise in conservation, and
this is what I really wanted to get involved in and as I can speak the language
there it shouldn’t be a problem.

Now that I have decided where to go, I need to plan what I will take and how I
will get there. From where I live, the Cameroon is a very long way away. I think I
will have to get on several airplanes and other types of transport to get there. If
I get my tickets organised well in advance, let’s say 12 months, I think I can get
quite a good deal and save some money. This means I will have more spends
for gifts and food.

It was a cold and windy night. My friend and I met after so long. We were so

Suddenly, it started raining heavily, and we hurried to get into an autorickshaw
but because of the rain there was no one on the road. After a while an
autorickshaw came. In a hurry we didn’t ask the fare and get into it. The driver
asked us where we wanted to go and we gave him the address. He was so

Since it was very cold, we decided to stop at any tea shop or restaurant to

I wondered why he was refusing. When I asked, he replied that he didn’t want
to trouble us. I was again surprised with his behaviour.

In fifteen minutes, we reached our home. We paid him the fare and he thanked
us. Then I thought to pay him some extra amount as he was so kind and
allowed us to have some tea at the tea shop, and also he dropped us to our
house very safely and responsibly. When I offered him the money he refused
and said’ “I cannot take any extra money, not even a single penny. I have
done nothing great. Being a citizen of this country, it’s my duty to take care
of my fellow-citizens and help them when they are in need.” I was speechless
and was dumbstruck with his integrity, honesty and generosity. I just smiled,
and thanked him again.
