SOUND OF FREEDOM The truth behind the controversy Sound of Freedom is based on the true story of Tim Ballard, a U.S. government agent fighting child sex trafficking. The film focuses on a covert operation carried out by Ballard in Cartagena, Colombia, to rescue girls from a brothel. In 2013 Tim Ballard (Jim Caviezel) infiltrates a child sex trafficking ring in Colombia. He poses as a wealthy American businessman to gain the trust of traffickers so that he can identify and rescue the exploited girls. With the help of a local team, Ballard takes on dangerous criminals as he searches for the girls and gathers evidence to arrest them. The film also shows Ballard's internal struggle to reconcile his work with his family life. The topic is very delicate, a film about network of childhood for sexual abuses is not easy and give a reflexion to viewer all of this is only possible with the details, first colorful is very nice, the perspective on camera is the best with the connection the movie start and finalize, the same kid is the stand for a great conclusion. In the most intense moment isn't the protagonist perspective, is the kid see through with this effects make up quality. Talking about the acting, the cast is very nice. I think the Vampiro actor deserve a recognize and the protagonist is like you feel the revenge if him close to your heart. Something isn’t good is Frost's character looks forced and boring but every rose has its thorn. The characters in many cases presents a great history in they're lines and something very important, personality and ambitions what makes them not flat and against them circle characters, making the story so much deep and immersive. Related with the previous mentioned, the lenguaje are so varied and differs characters, more notorious because they are characters of many countries creating more personality and variance against they. In a technical part, the effects in the movie are acceptable but its notorious the limited budget, some scenes with guns or speed motion are not all good and takes away the seriousness of the scene and can focus more on those small mistakes. In conclusion is a super good film, being based on real events gives a greater depth and makes those who see this film reflect, It deals with super important themes today and the characters were very successful and make convey the desired feelings during the last moments of the film, has good duration and good scenery
