Introductory Message
This Self-Learning Module (SLM) is prepared so that you, our dear
learners, can continue your studies and learn while at home. Activities,
questions, directions, exercises, and discussions are carefully stated for
you to understand each lesson.
Each SLM is composed of different parts. Each part shall guide you
step-by-step as you discover and understand the lesson prepared for you.
Pre-tests are provided to measure your prior knowledge on lessons
in each SLM. This will tell you if you need to proceed on completing this
module or if you need to ask your facilitator or your teacher’s assistance
for better understanding of the lesson. At the end of each module, you
need to answer the post-test to self-check your learning. Answer keys are
provided for each activity and test. We trust that you will be honest in
using these.
In addition to the material in the main text, Notes to the Teacher
are also provided to our facilitators and parents for strategies and
reminders on how they can best help you on your home-based learning.
Please use this module with care. Do not put unnecessary marks
on any part of this SLM. Use a separate sheet of paper in answering the
exercises and tests. And read the instructions carefully before performing
each task.
If you have any questions in using this SLM or any difficulty in
answering the tasks in this module, do not hesitate to consult your
teacher or facilitator.
Thank you.

What’s New
Project/Activity/Event Analysis is crucial to the success of future events.
Effective feedback collection can provide valuable insight into how to improve
consumer experience and provide data for making better informed decisions.
Let us explore your performance in handling your CA plan!
Feedbacking
Directions: Review each statement reflecting on your groups performance and
participation in planning your culminating Activity. Write Yes if you agree and
No, if not. Write your answer in a separate sheet of paper or in your
notebook/journal.
1. We can explain how our action plan relates to what we have learned in
class.
2. Our activities show how to be all-inclusive.
3. Our activities teach a lesson about all people.
4. We shared our ideas and tried our activities with another group and used
their feedback to improve our action plan.
5. We have an organized plan with a list of materials, our timelines, and our
target group.
6. We know which class we want to work with and are ready to conference
with our teachers.
7. We made final adjustments to our plan and are ready to begin.
What is It?
The culminating activity for this program requires students to participate
in all aspects of event operations and analyze the success of the event. Students
will be able to experience what it is like to work as event staff and marketing
analysts. In any organized event, it is likely students will encounter issues that
require communication, teamwork and problem solving skills. As a teacher, try
your best to merely guide the students. Allowing the students control over event
4
operations will encourage them to take ownership in their work. This is their
opportunity to display their knowledge and skills and shine before their peers
and mentors
Once students have analyzed the success of the event, students will have
the opportunity to present their event analysis summaries to entertainment
industry professionals. This opportunity will provide students with valuable
presentation and communication experience. Remember to stress the
importance of professionalism but also remind students this is a learning
experience. The purpose of this program is to provide students with the
confidence and skills necessary to enter the real world and find their passion.
