BIPS to Vision and mission: “Together we learn and grow” CIRCULAR TO PARENTS-REVIEW VISIT BY SPEA Ref No.:BIPS/P-6.2/2615/2023-24 Date:22/02/2024 Dear Parents, Greetings! Kindly be informed about the upcoming review visit at BIPS, starting from Monday,26th February to Thursday 29thFeb.’2024. We would like to take this opportunity to provide some important reminders for best outcomes. School Timings: We kindly request parents who transport their children to ensure they arrive between 6:45 am to 7:00 am. Consistent late arrivals will impact behavior marks and may cause students to miss important activities such as assemblies and other homeroom events. Mandatory Wearing of ID Cards: From a safety standpoint, it is mandatory for all students to wear their ID cards to school every day. It has been noticed that many students STILL do not bring their cards, resulting in missed notifications being sent to parents about timely arrivals, creating safety concerns. School Uniform: Kindly ensure that your child is in the correct school uniform as per our guidelines. PE uniform should only be worn on PE days as per the class timetable. Colored jackets, accessories, or any violations will result in deductions of behavior marks and strict action. Absence from School: If the child is absent, please inform the Supervisor/Homeroom teacher through email. Use of Gadgets: Students should bring their devices (laptop, tablet, iPad) on a regular basis next week without fail. Gadgets will be used only during lessons for teaching and learning purposes. They will require the gadgets for Century Tech and Cerebry tools use in school. In order to restrict screen time, the use of gadgets is strictly prohibited during break time and on the bus. The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited; if found, they will be confiscated and returned on the last day of term 2. Assessments: Year 1 and Year 2 assessments will be conducted as scheduled. Swimming Lessons, Quran classes and Support classes will be held as scheduled and informed AI-powered Cerebry Platform: All students from Year 2 to Year 13 are provided with their username and pwd. Please monitor your child's attainment and progress and approach core subject teachers (English, Math, and Science) for further guidance. This platform could be a valuable tool for relearning purposes, strengthening concepts learned, and may be useful in Term 2 exam preparation. Early Dismissal: Please avoid unnecessary early pickups and communicate any valid reasons for early dismissal in advance, preferably before 11:30 am through email or phone call. Late messages after 11:30 am will not be accepted. Referral for Early Leave: Parents are requested to refrain from taking students early without a valid reason. We encourage parents to schedule all medical appointments/engagements outside of regular school hours to avoid students missing lessons. Permission will not be granted for early leave without valid proof. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your support and cooperation. Kind Regards SdPrincipal Asifa Sultana BIPS Mission: To empower students to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them as lifelong learners to contribute as global citizens.
