OBJECTIVE
TO EXPLAIN WHAT COUNTS AS BRIBERY AND
CORRUPTION WITHIN A BUSINESS AND HOW
EVERYONE IN THE WORKPLACE IS ACCOUNTABLE
FOR ENSURING THESE DO NOT OCCUR. THIS TALK
WILL HELP EMPLOYEES BE AWARE OF THE
COMMITMENTS SET OUT IN THE COMPANY’S ANTIBRIBERY AND CORRUPTION POLICY.
What Do We Mean by Bribery & Corruption?
Target:
All operatives on site.
Bribery and corruption have a detrimental
impact on business by undermining good
governance and distorting free markets.
The UK Bribery act 2020 discourages Bribery and
Corruption practices. It also introduced new general
offences of offering and receiving a bribe with no
exception of facilitation payments. The Act holds
government officials, private organisations and
individuals all accountable for acts of bribery and
corruption. Everyone in the workplace is accountable
