Section 3, paragraph h highlights the necessity for conducting student-leadership trainings, while paragraph d underscores the significance of recognition and awards programs for outstanding student government organizations and officers. Hence, there arises a clear need for Capability Building and Training for Student-Leaders. As the future leaders of our country, it's crucial to groom the next generation of leaders from an early age. By actively involving students in organizations like the Supreme Secondary Learners Government, we provide a platform for them to develop crucial leadership skills and foster their academic and social well-being. Through targeted seminar-workshops and team-building activities, we aim to equip these young leaders with the necessary tools to succeed in the 21st century. By tapping into their innate potential and nurturing their passion and dedication, we empower them to become agents of positive change. Investing in their development not only ensures the future prosperity of our nation but also cultivates a generation of principled leaders committed to excellence and service. NOTE: A registration fee of ₱100.00 for every SSLG Officers and ₱150.00 for the SSLG Advisers shall be collected to defray the expenses of the said activity. Entrance Fee and transportation of the participants will be shouldered individually by the participants, and stipend for the resource Speaker and other incidental expenses relative to its conduct shall be charged against SSLG Funds or any local funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. III. Program Description This program focuses on leadership training for student officers as prime movers of the country. They will be oriented on the essential qualities of a student leader. They will be taught how to handle a parliamentary meeting; learn to write minutes of the meeting; workshop on basic resolution and ordinance writing and craft program proposal and action plan. This program also aims to enhance their leadership and social skills through team building activities. Target Learners’ Description IV. The target participants for this activity are all SSLG officers of the three (3) Public Secondary Schools in the district of Guindulman. Participating schools may send participants accompanied by their SSLG Advisers. V. Workplace Development Objectives (WDO) Impact: Improved leadership and social skills of the student leaders. Organizational outcome: Encourage team work and camaraderie among members of the organizations. Outputs: The following are the expected outputs of this activity: Produced seminar-workshop that teach basic knowledge in leadership, parliamentary procedures, writing of minutes of the meeting, action plan, resolutions and ordinances.
