Analysis of the Efforts of The Project Manager(S)
They did an outstanding job in several areas, particularly scope, time, cost, and risk
management. They developed a distinct and thorough scope, explored additional value, and
implemented rolling-wave planning (Fluor, n.d.). They utilized rigorous and innovative techniques
to monitor and control the schedule, thus resulting in faster completion (Fluor, n.d.; US
Department of Energy, 2012). They effectively handled the budget, reduced costs, and increased
funds (Fluor, n.d.; Savannah River Site, 2023). They assessed and mitigated crucial risks,
generated and updated risk registries, and learnt from occurrences (Fluor, n.d.; U.S. Department
of Energy, 2012).
Areas of Improvement
They did poorly or might have improved in areas such as communication
management, quality management, and stakeholder management. They failed to effectively
manage the expectations and interests of, the White House, the DOE the regulators, and the public.
They also neglected to check that the protocols for nuclear operations were observed. They had to
refresh the staff members, modify the procedures, use numerous avenues, and communicate and
interact with them.
Analysis of the organization's culture
An organization's culture is shaped by its values, beliefs, conventions, traditions, and
artifacts. Aside from client satisfaction, the organization prioritizes cost-effectiveness, safety,
security, and environmental stewardship. These concepts are discussed in the organization's
mission, goals, objectives, rules, processes, and standards. The organization values professional
competence, continuous improvement, and a lack of accidents and injuries. The group follows the
