User Interface and User Experience (UI &
UX) are two terms that have made a mark in
the designing world. Both UX/UI designers
are making tons of money from their skills on
a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
Both designers require to be user friendly
when embarking on a new project and they
can only scale through if they learn the basics
and work on their skills.
User Interface has to do with screens,
keyboards and so on while UX designers are
charged with the responsibility of ensuring
that the organization is run without any issue.
The duo has numerous similarities, no
wonder why both skills are in high demand
around the world.

What are UX and UI?

If you intended to use a computer in the
1970s, you had to utilize the command-line
interface. Commercially, graphical interfaces
were not yet available. Users had to connect
with a computer using a programming
language, which required seemingly endless
code lines to execute a basic job.
Computer scientists at Xerox PARC created
the first graphical user interface (GUI) in the
1980s. Thanks to this pioneering invention,
users may now communicate with their
computers by visually inputting instructions
through icons, buttons, menus, and
checkboxes.
The personal computer revolution began due
to this technological shift, which allowed
anyone to use a computer without needing to

The Macintosh personal computer, which had

Macintosh.

known as zero UI) such as speech, gesture,
and light.

unlimited for today's UI designer. As long as
computers are a part of everyday life,
interfaces must be designed to allow users of
diverse ages, backgrounds, and technical

What is user experience (UX)?

designer, UI designer, interaction designer,
visual designer, and so on. What are the
similarities and differences between the roles,
and why are they frequently combined?
When discussing the processes involved in
producing a product, the terms user
experience (UX) design and user interface
(UI)
design
are
sometimes
used
interchangeably.
Interaction design, information architecture,
graphic design, content planning and
production, user research, and psychology are

UX focuses on designing for the user's

Wire Flow

wireframe and a user flow. We see the

their approach to complete the objective
instead of blocks with information. Wire
flows are very handy for creating mobile
applications (because of the small screen
size).
Screen Flow

of the final program, are included in screen
flows. They are very detailed and accurately
depict the size and appearance of a future

UX Design Prototypes

realistic) wireframes with some
graphic design; ideally, test with
users to evaluate user flows.
Final product: Construct a
completely designed and working
product; test with users to make any
necessary changes.
Prototypes are typically used to refer
to models of actual objects or
machinery. These prototypes are
low-cost replicas of a design that
engineers use to see how the real
item works.
While many UX initiatives are
digital, digital prototypes are
essentially the same as physical
prototypes in that they are low-cost
mockups for testing ideas.
Prototyping is an iterative process in which
design teams turn abstract concepts into
concrete forms, ranging from paper to digital.
To capture design ideas and test them on
people, teams create prototypes of varied
degrees of detail. You may modify and
confirm your ideas using prototypes so that
your company can release the proper items.
