Statement of Purpose -Jerryson M Anyawoe I passed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2010 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2022.. Then, in 2013, I graduated from Southbank University in the UK with a master's degree in accounting and finance.. To prepare for a career in real estate development, I hope to be accepted into KNUST's real estate master's program.. I hope to be selected based on my enthusiasm and achievements, because real estate has always played an important role in my life.. I am truly committed to achieving excellence in real estate and my education, giving it my all and willing to contribute as much as I can over time.. I pursue my central career passion: Real Estate.. It would be a privilege and a profound opportunity for me to study at KNUST.. I see MSc Real Estate at KNUST as the optimal springboard to take me as far as possible in my career, making my mark as a leader in the real estate industry.. In 2015, I worked for Cushman & Wakefield Excellerate in Accra as a Finance Manager, responsible for managing large commercial buildings, malls and other development projects.. This position gave me experience managing the conflicting demands of different clients and required me to develop excellent communication skills to help facilitate productive business relationships.. environment.. Over time, I look forward to continuing to develop expertise in property valuation, serving as a global property consultant or self-employed property investor.. It has fueled my enthusiasm for the potential of urban infill, adaptive reuse, sustainable architecture, and mixed-use developments My current position as a Financial Controller with Appolonia Development Company serving some of the most exclusive residential areas and Light Industries of the nation's capital.. I consider my responsibility to maintain finances and assessments as a unique experience that will help me get started and excel in your program at KNUST.. I am also grateful to have developed an improved understanding of the Ghanaian real estate market, especially the risks and opportunities unique to the region.. I also had the opportunity to engage in business analysis and learn asset management principles Other professional experiences at Broll Ghana gave me broad exposure to the business and asset management sector, equip me with the management and analytical skills that I believe will be essential for a career in real estate.. Nothing excites me more than raising awareness about financial risk factors Nothing excites me as much as increasing my awareness of the financial risk factors associated with property development. My work with the Real Estate firms has helped me better understand the big picture, the larger environment in which property companies operate, and the international marketplace, especially concerning real estate. I valued the opportunity that these work experiences gave me to delve deeply into the fields of management, finance, marketing, and corporate strategy and give me rigorous training in vital numerical skills such as financial mathematics and the application of game theory. I particularly enjoyed the international aspects of the course, which allowed me to understand business from a comparative and global perspective, which I regard as vital, especially given my interest in real estate.
