Basketball is one the favorite of the constituents of Barangay Mijares, it is fir the
reason that all barangays in the municipality haver their own respective basketball
courts. In fact all of them hold basketball tournaments every fiesta, moreover, others
during summer and christmas season just like what we are celebrating now.
Mijares SK Basketball League aims to develop the values of sportmanship,
excellence, camaraderie, discipline and develop their knowledge and skills in basketball.
This tournament however is open for all youths who are willing to participate.

OBJECTIVES:
This activity is aimed to incorporating elements of fun and competition and
turning the youths attention away from negative influence such as vices. Drugs, etc. And
promote harmonous relations among them. This Activity also strives to develop one’s
self esteem and sportmanship and mostly, showcase what they are capable of in terms of
playing Basketball.

RECOMMENDATION:
In view of the above, it is hereby recommended that this Project Proposal be
favourably approved for the welfare of Katipunan ng Kabataan in Brgy Mijares,
Dipaculao, Aurora.
