Recall (Elicit) The students that will be picked from the spinning wheel will be asked a questions from the previous topics in music. (Math Integration: getting the percentage of being selected from the spinning wheel) B. Motivation (Engage) The students will sing a song PAMULINAWEN with different dynamics and Tempo. C. Discussion of concept (Explore) The teacher will facilitate the discussion and ask students about their prior knowledge in musical instruments of lowlands of Luzon. Developing Mastery (Explain) The students will be grouped according from their row, The group will listen to the music and identify the musical instruments being used. The group that will able to identify the musical instruments will be given bonus points for their quiz. E. Application & Generalization (Elaborate) The students will be asked question: “What are the purposes of musical instruments in making music?” F. Evaluation POP QUIZ: The student will answer the following questions from the monitor: 1. It is an instrument with the highest pitch range. Usually, this instrument plays the melody. The Spanish banduria has 12 strings while the Filipino banduria has 14 strings. 2. These instruments play the contra -puntal (counter point). 3. The guitar is a popular instrument with usually 6 strings. is typically played by strumming or plucking the strings plays the rhythm or beat of the musical piece. 4. It is the largest instrument of the rondalla. This stringed instrument has only 4 thick strings, but there are rare bass instruments that have 6 strings. The word that will be used in the game are connected to the topic. C.
