(Green/Yellow/Red areas have saturated soil moisture).

REGIONS: Northwestern, Luapula, Northern, Muchinga, Eastern, Lusaka and Central
Provinces.
HIGHER RISK AREAS
Isoko, Kawambwa, Kasempa, Mbala, Mwinilunga, Lundazi, Chama, Samfya, Solwezi
and surrounding areas.
MEDIUM RISK AREAS
Zambezi, Mpika, Mongu, Petauke, Kasama, Mansa and Lusaka
LOW RISK AREAS
Serenje, Nchelenge Mwense and Kaoma

CAUSE: There has been continuous rainfall in the past 72 hours and it is
anticipated to continue with heavy falls in the next 12 to 24 hours. Therefore,
regions indicated above are at higher risk of flash floods, flooding and water logging
due to the amounts of rainfall received and higher saturated levels of soil
moisture.
ADVISORIES
Avoid crossing rivers, streams and flooded areas.
Avoid driving during heavy falls;
Stay indoors during heavy falls;
Ensure drainages around your dwelling places are free of debris.
