The Job
Civil Infrastructure Construction & Maintenance Head for a multi-location large
scale continuous process industry with ancillary buildings and townships.
Location
TNPL Unit – 1, Karur, Tamilnadu.

Job Description & Specification: The prospective candidate will be a linking pin between the
Management and Manufacturing functions for all types of civil construction projects and
infrastructure maintenance activities.  The candidate will work with Production, Project
Management and other user departments for all civil construction with MEP activities, right
from conceptualization, finalization of plans & designs (in line with NBC & recent IS Codes),
budgeting, tendering, negotiations & contracting, obtaining all statutory approvals/ clearances/
licenses, scheduling, execution, monitoring, periodical reviewing & reporting, certifying the
quality and conformity to timely completion as per the plans, designs & approved budget.
Skills Preferred: Project Management Exposure from Large Industries / EPC Organizations.
Exposure to Project Management tools viz., MS Projects / PRIMAVERA / Gantt & PERT
Charts, Green Building Concepts / GRIHA / IGBC norms. Excellent Leadership quality to
lead multi-disciplinary teams & contractors. Age and Experience may be relaxed up to 2 years for
deserving candidates.

(Negotiable for exceptional candidates.)
Three years. However, if the performance is found satisfactory, the tenure may be
extended.
