AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Hello, my name is Rochelle Salero. I was born in Koronadal, South Cotabato on June 5, 2007. I
am the eldest child of my parents I have 3 siblings, Nielchen Salero, Rochen Salero, and the
youngest is Jesus Salero. We are a family of four, raised well by our parents, Mechelle Salero and
Ronnel Salero. In this chapter, I will explore my early childhood, filled with innocence and
curiosity. I will share stories about my family, the neighborhood I grew up in, and the first
friendships that blossomed. From my first steps to my first day of school, this chapter sets the
foundation for the adventures that lie ahead.
When I was still young, I had a fondness for reading stories in books, and I was also afraid of the
moon because I thought it was following me whenever I walked. I enjoyed watching fantasy stories,
so I believed in things that couldn't be seen, like mermaids, fairies, Smurfs, and many others. I
made a lot of friends back then, including Yhadly, Jillian, Kenken, and my cousins Ellah, Angel,
and Trisha. My first day of elementary school was incredibly exciting because there were so many
kids like me to play with, and I also met classmates who became my friends to this day. I had
various experiences in elementary school, I won an art competition and proudly received a
certificate as proof. So, when I finished elementary school, I had earned two medals. This School
Years, Level two delves into the rollercoaster ride that was my school years. From navigating the
complexities of friendships and peer pressure to discovering my passions and talents, this chapter
highlights the challenges and growth I experienced academically, socially, and emotionally. When, I
entered Junior high school, I thought everything would be easy, but it was tough, especially in math.
I'm a slow learner when it comes to this subject, and I didn't become an honor student until grade
9. That's when I realized the importance of working hard to achieve your goals, even if it's very
challenging.
This chapter focuses on my teenage years, a time when dreams and aspirations took center stage.
This chapter explores the trials and tribulations of finding my true calling, the hurdles faced in
pursuing my passions, and the lessons learned along the way. From overcoming self-doubt to
embracing failure as a stepping stone to success, this chapter is a pivotal point in my journey. In
grade 10, during the first quarter, I didn't become an honor student because I was careless and
often slept in class. That's when I realized I was doing something wrong. So, from the 2nd quarter
to the 4th quarter, I took it seriously, faced the difficult subjects and assignments, and became an
honor student until I graduated from Junior high school. This chapter of my life is the ultimate
achievement in the game of living. And now, I'm in senior high school, facing the most challenging
level, but I know I can handle it.
A Game of Living is a memoir that encapsulates the essence of my journey through life. the
challenges overcome, the lessons learned, and the growth experienced during my failures. Through
this autobiography, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own journey, viewing life as an
exciting game filled with opportunities for growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
