Dear Recruiter,
I am writing to express my sincere interest in the Plastic Engineer position at Hager Group, as advertised.
Having recently graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering, I am excited about the prospect of
contributing my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to the innovative work carried out by Hager Group.
I am a recent graduate from Instituto Superior Técnico, where I earned a Master's degree in Chemical
Engineering. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in engineering principles,
materials science, and polymer chemistry – all integral components of the plastic engineering field.
I just defended my Master final thesis work at Facultat de química with the Group of magnetism and
functional molecules of the university of Barcelona (GMMF). With the end of my studies, my thesis topic has
reawakened a spirit of work and cooperation within my last Research internship. Since I can remember, I've
always been drawn to subjects that require me to solve problems and look for solutions.
My passion for plastic engineering has been a driving force throughout my academic pursuits. I am
particularly drawn to Hager Group due to its reputation for excellence and innovation in the field. The
opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of solutions aligns
perfectly with my professional aspirations.
When it was time for me to choose my academic path, it was clear to me that I needed to gain as much
knowledge as I could. Because of the amplitude that I wanted to achieve with my studies, Chemical
Engineering was the obvious option for me, as it gathered foundations from all different sciences such as
programming, mathematics and physics. The other big component that influenced my choice was a dynamic
and challenging lifestyle where I could directly make a positive impact on our society and continue to learn
from others. So, the choice of a bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in chemical engineering was the result of
these two main factors.
I truly believe that given the opportunity I would be an added value in this company, as the hard working,
easy learner and practical person that I am. I also believe that my integration in this company will allow me
to acquire a set of professional and cooperative skills, that I hope will make me grow, not only professionally,
but as a human.
