Question 1 The SDG theme of reduced inequality is very important, as it addresses the many ways in which people are disadvantaged or discriminated against. One way to reduce inequality is to increase access to education and communication, which is where the short film project comes in. Our group felt excited and motivated when we came up with the idea for this project. we saw an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and we were eager to get started. Despite the challenges, our group was able to create a powerful and moving short film that will help to raise awareness of the importance of sign language and the need to reduce inequality for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Question 6 We are very proud of our project to create a short film about sign language. We chose this theme because we believe that it is important to reduce inequality for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Sign language is a valuable tool for communication, and it is important that everyone has access to it. Our team faced a few challenges in completing this project. First, we had to find people who were fluent in sign language to help us with the script and the filming. Second, we had to make sure that the film was accessible to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Despite the challenges, we are very proud of the final product. For example, we adjusted the script at the last minute because it didn’t meet the minimum requirement of 3 minutes. One of the challenges included finding a translator. We found out from the translator from a cafe that the employees with special needs. There were many memorable experiences we had during this project. One of the most memorable was meeting the deaf translators who were a part of the film. Overall, this project was a valuable learning experience for me. We learned a lot about sign language and its importance and we also learned a lot about the challenges that people who are deaf or hard of hearing face. Question 5 Creativity: A short film about sign language and reduced inequality should be creative and engaging. This means using your imagination to come up with innovative ideas and solutions. Technical skills: We need to develop some technical skills, such as editing, filming, or sound design. These skills can be learned through online tutorials or classes. Collaboration skills: Making a film is a team effort, so it is important to be able to collaborate effectively with others. This includes being able to compromise, listen to feedback, and work together towards a common goal. Sign languages are expressed through manual articulation in combination with non-manual markers. Sign languages are full-fledged natural languages with their own grammar and lexicon. Sign language is used by deaf people and people who are hard of hearing, as well as by hearing people who are learning sign language. She can talk and hear, not like her mother. They’re so poor, that they often sleep on the sidewalks. One day, A YouTuber named Ava made a fake donation video. Question 4 We were surprised by the lack of resources available on sign language. There are many resources available on spoken languages. This made it difficult to find accurate and up-to-date information on sign language grammar, vocabulary, and culture. There are over 300 different sign languages in the world, and each one has its unique grammar and vocabulary. This made it difficult to create a short film that would be accessible to a wide audience. We learned a lot about the importance of communication and accessibility. We realized that many people who are deaf or hard of hearing face challenges in communicating with others. Our short film was an attempt to raise awareness of these challenges and to promote accessibility for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
