Headgear
Helmet protects from falling object, rocks,
or hardware, and to reduce brain injury if
the person falls and hit the head
Secure chin strap, not elastic type which
flip off the head
Shell made of fiberglass composite, glass
reinforced polyamide which able to “give”
to absorb blow

Clothing
Shirts and pants must be cut full, they will
not bind when arms are extended above
the head or when legs are raised

SAFETY
All incidents shall be run with the rescuer
in the instruction of the team leader and
the victim’s being the primary concern. At
no time is an attempt at rescue to be
initiated, when there is significant
possibility that the rescuer’s or the
victim’s life will be lost in that attempt
SAFETY
No one shall attempt rescue effort
without any adequate and
appropriate protective equipment,
including:
Helmet
Eye protection/goggles
Gloves

Harness and carabineers
And other equipment may see fit to the
type of incident
No one shall perform search and rescue or
other hazardous activity alone except in
extreme circumstances, with the consent
of both Coordinator and the Team Leader.

scene of an incident without the consent
of the Coordinator and the Team Leader
Every rescuers, searcher and other
personnel unit shall be accompanied by
his or her team member or crew at all
times
