Your First Cold Email Campaign Checklist Use this checklist to optimize your cold email campaigns, We use this internally to ensure that we are consistently able to book meetings. It's Divided into 7 Sections 1. Domains and Accounts Did you buy a secondary domain specifically for cold email campaigns? Did you buy a google workspace starter pack aka inbox for the domain? Did you set up DMARC? Did you set up DKIM? Did you set up SPF? . 2. Connecting to Omni Did you add a sender name? Did you create an App Password? Did you set up your email signature? Did you double-check your custom variables? ✏️Get Omni Now! 3. Warm-up & Pre-work Did you warm up your inbox for at least 2 weeks? Does every email account have an engaging signature? Does every email account have a headshot? ✏️Try our recommended warmup tool 4. Scripts Are the scripts written through omni? - if yes, you can skip this section but make sure to double-check the script! Are custom 1st lines being used? Are there four sends in each campaign? Is there a true offer/case study included in all scripts? Are all scripts short and to the point? Do any sentences start with "I" or "We"? (If so, fix scripts) Do any scripts have images or links in them? (if yes, remove them) Do all scripts end with a clear call to action? 5. Start Outreach By this point, all the above sections should be filled and you should be ready to launch the campaign Did you check the deliverability score before starting the campaign? Was your email list verified and cleaned? Are you sending the correct amount of emails each day? (start with 20 emails a day) Are subject lines being tested correctly? 6. Analyse and Optimize Your job is not over by simply launching the campaigns, you must analyze the data and optimize your campaign to get the best result possible Were open rates consistently over 80%? (if not, test more subject lines) Was the reply rate over 20%? (if not revamp custom 1st lines) Did you reach the weekly meeting target? (If not, do a full review and re-strategize.) 7. Follow-up Are replies being sent within 24 hours of a lead responding? Are you following up with leads every week until we get a no? Are you cold-calling leads who have shown interest but have not scheduled a meeting? Does every response have a call to action to book a meeting?
