Julie Foudy once said and I quote, “Sports build good habits, confidence,
and discipline. They make players into community leaders and teach them
how to strive for a goal, handle mistakes, and cherish growth
opportunities. “Good morning, Lourdesians! Welcome to the LPHS
Intramurals 2023.
To formally start our opening program, let us all stand up and ready
ourselves for the Philippine National Anthem to be led by Mrs. Laila N.
Salvadora, our MAPEH Coordinator.
Thank you so much Ma’am Lai. You may now take your seat. It is indeed
a good way to start our day rekindling our patriotism to our beloved nation.
So, without further ado, let’s hear the Opening Remarks from our very
humble and Fatherly School Head none other than, Sir Abe Portugal. Let’s
give him a round of applause please.
Thank you so much Sir Abe for that very wonderful opening remarks.
Are you all still excited? Can I hear a clap from our students if you are still
excited… ok! And they are still excited.
Alright! Certainly, after hearing that, everyone is already on the hype! So,
without any further ado, let’s acknowledge the participating teams of this
year’s Intramural 2023 per Grade Level. May I call on every Grade level
Coordinator to formally present their participants… Grade 7, Grade 8,
Grade 9, Grade 10, 11 & 12.
At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, the Hoisting of Year Level Banner
with the Grade level representative of each participating team.
The year level representative will be the one to post their banner in their
assigned color.
Grade 7… 8… 9… 10… 11... 12.
Are you now ready Lourdesians? in 3.. 2.. 1…
There we have it, Lourdesians! Congratulations… (Grade _____ for being
the first team to raise their banner.)
So we hope that everyone will enjoy and stay safe today. We’re almost at
the exciting part! But wait, there’s more! Let’s first have the torch lighting
to be performed by one of our Palarong Bicol Athlete, Mr. Rhian Carlo
Chica.
All right, and that signals the start of the tournament. But before we
proceed further, ensuring the quality of the games, our players will be
taking an oath of Sportsmanship to lead we have our Palarong
Panlalawigan Athlete, no other than Mr. John Lloyd Secillano.
Thank you so much. At this point, let’s welcome with an applause to
formally declare the opening of the LPHS Intramurals 2023, our everenergetic Sports Coordinator, Mrs. Roselle A. Plotado.
She will also assist us in the drawing of lots.

That concludes our program but before we end our program, which is also
the start of the ball games… I will just remind you with this quote from
Michael Jordan. It says that…
“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”

It’s an honor to be a part of this program, well then, may the best players
win. I am Christy L. Gastilo your master of ceremony for this opening

INTRODUCTION:
Global warming and climate change are considered as the 2 major problems IN
our environment. Clearly it is very evident and currently we are experiencing its
effect. In line with this, preserving the environment is nothing less, than
preserving life. This activity today is indeed a perfect avenue and considered
as one of the many ways to help and strengthen our environment. The
Department of Education launches the project entitled DepEd’s 236,000 Trees
– A Christmas Gift for the Children.
The Lourdes Provincial High School proudly joins the project of DepEd which is
the 236,000 Trees, A Christmas Gift for the Children.
Before the Teachers proceed to the Tree planting activity let’s have 1st our short
program
To formally commence our short program, May I request everyone to please
stand for the Philippine National Anthem to be led by Maam Laila N. Salvadora
our MAPEH Teacher to be followed by an Opening Prayer by Maam Aiza N.
Sabordo, our Science Teacher.

pero hindi po si Sir Joven but they are trained by Sir Joven. I will give the floor
for the selected Grade 8 students for their intermission number.
