Design Your Daily Checklist For High Performance & Success Before designing your checklist... We all have 24 hours in a day. If you want to add good habits in your life, you must eliminate the bad ones. Before you design your daily checklist, make a list of the main habits that you already do on a regular basis. Next, write a category in front of them. For example, health, work, relationship, leisure, etc. You now have an idea of what your current life looks like. How many positive activities do you have? Are you living your life according to your priorities? After evaluating your current life, it’s time to reset your life. Eliminate all the activities that are not serving you or your goals. Now, it’s time to design your daily checklist for high performance and success. For example, meditate for x minutes, read x pages, sleep for x hours, exercise between 5pm to 6pm. Etc. Figure out what your priorities and goals are. You want to make sure you at least get your top habits done. The other habits are there to add bonus awesomeness to your day. You can also mark the habits that you want to do a few times a week. Write the number of days to give yourself a target. For example, you can make a rule of checking your checklist at 4 pm and see how many habits you've already done, how many are left to do and how many you will skip that day (if any). Finish every day by giving your checklist a final look. ❏ Weekly (reflect, adjust difficulty and reset goals) Set a day to do a weekly reflection in which you’d reflect on what’s going well, what’s not going well and what you can do better next time. Adjust the number of items and the difficulty of the habits depending on your life situation. Remember, the checklist should make you feel better. It should not overwhelm you. Make quick wins in the right direction even if the progress is small. The key is to keep tracking and re-adjusting your checklist according to your key focus and life situation.
