Lesson 2: A Closer Look 1
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge :
- List some vocabularies related to the topic of Music and arts (art gallery,
musician, composer, puppet theater, artist, actress, painter, concert hall,…)
- Recognize the sounds /ʃ/ and /ʒ/.
2. Competences:
- Develop communication skills and creativity; be collaborative and supportive
in pair work and teamwork; be actively join in class activities.
- Use the lexical items about people, places and activities related to the topic
Music and arts.
- Pronounce the words that contain the sounds /ʃ/ and /ʒ/ correctly.
3. Qualities:
- To educate the love of music and art.
- Be ready to know the words about music and arts.
- Develop self-study skills.
