Both countries are democratic republics but there are some differences in which both governments work. The Indian government works in a parliamentary system, however, the USA has a presidential system. India is the largest democracy in the whole world, yet, the United States of America has the oldest democracy in the whole world. In India, the head of the government is the prime minister which is elected but in the USA the president is the head of the state and he or she is elected. Furthermore, in India, the president is elected for 5 years but in the USA the president is elected for 4 years. India has a complicated democracy and a multi-party system whereas, the USA has a less complicated democracy and they have a bi-party system. In American Democracy the president of the united states of America has the most power although in Indian democracy the prime minister of India has the most power. In addition, in India, a democracy is followed which is in the form of a parliamentary government which is followed by people of India although, in the United States of America, a democracy is observed which is in the form of a presidential government which the people of the United States of America follow. Also, in India, the constitution of the government thrives on single citizenship of the people however, in the United States of America the constitution of the US allows dual citizenship to the citizens of America. Moreover, in India, the members are appointed by the prime minister itself from his party or from those supporting his party but in the United States of America the president himself nominates the cabinet members and then he or she sends the senate for the conformation and the cabinet members need not be the Congress members instead being the members of the cabinet members just cold be industry experts. In addition, India's parliament is the supreme legislative body however in the United States of America Congress is the legislature of the USA. In conclusion, in Indian democracy, there is no separation of powers but in the USA there is a clear separation of powers. Q2. It is faster in the decision-making process as when a law needs to be passed only 1 person decides, and this allows the government to act quickly.
