Game: Cross Your Arms
Duration: 5 minutes Number of participants: unlimited
My operational definition of "crossed" is folding their arms together, as if
they were bored or waiting for something. Once they have completed this
task, ask them to "fold their arms the other way," reverse of what they just
performed. I guarantee that 90 percent of the class will struggle with it.
Discussion Questions
How did it feel when you were asked to cross your arms the
other way?The teacher will write the word “PLAN” on the board and will ask
the students what comes to their mind or any word that connects or affiliates
with it. The students are allowed to speak/recite freely or write their answers
on the board.
Did it come naturally or did you have to stop and think about it? Were you
comfortable with doing this differently from your normal process?
What are some things that make people resistant to change?
What can you do to make it easier for people in your organization to accept
the changes associated with Lean and Six Sigma?
What kind of support is necessary to maintain the changes associated with
Lean and Six Sigma?

present in the class.
6. Making
generalizations and
abstractions about
the lesson
Why it is important to know the Methodologies and Approaches
in Community Action?
In a community, problems occur because of the changing time and practices
reason community deteriorates and needed something to be done. Before
jumping on that board, it needs thorough planning of a certain activity in
order to progress.

True or false. Write T if the statement is correct and
M if incorrect.
1. In the conduct of any community action program, the
implementors proceed directly with the activity sans the needs
assessment.
2. An effective community action initiative is one which would
involve a particular sector of the community which is identified
before the needs assessment is conducted.
Make a bullet list of the things needed to consider in writing a community
action plan.
3.A community action initiative is implemented before a
plan is conceived.
