Our esthetician educational program is designed to provide comprehensive training in skincare, beauty techniques, and ethical practices. The curriculum encompasses theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and real-world applications to prepare students for successful careers in the field of esthetics. Equipment Used: The educational program utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, including but not limited to facial steamers, microdermabrasion machines, LED light therapy devices, waxing equipment, and professional skincare products. These tools are essential for hands-on learning experiences that mirror industry standards. Faculty Deviation: To modify the dedication or structure of the program, a thorough evaluation by the faculty is required. Changes would involve the expertise of at least 3 faculty members, ensuring that modifications align with educational objectives and industry trends. Student Protection Measures: In the interest of student safety and program effectiveness, the institution plans to implement periodic evaluations. A robust system will be in place to assess and adjust the program over the three years following the application submission date. This iterative process aims to protect students and enhance the overall educational experience. Learning Skills and Competencies: Students will acquire a range of skills and competencies, including skincare techniques, product knowledge, client consultation, sanitation and hygiene practices, and business fundamentals. The program emphasizes hands-on training, critical thinking, and adaptability to ensure graduates are well-rounded and industry-ready.The Esthetician course consists of six-hundred (600) clock hours which include a minimum of 235 clock hours of technical instruction (lecture, demonstrations, classroom participation and/or examination) with the remaining 365 clock hours allotted to the completion of the state board’s minimum specified practical operations.
