Maximum Grade Point (GP) is 10 corresponding to O (Outstanding). For
all courses, a student is required to pass both Continuous Evaluation
Components and Term End Examination separately with a minimum
Grade Point of 4 corresponding to Grade PASS. Students securing less
than 40% absolute marks in each head of passing will be declared FAIL.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following
requirements:
• Candidate should be a graduate from any recognized University/
Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a
minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade at 10th, 12th and
graduation.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree or
equivalent qualifications and are awaiting results can also apply.
• In order to pursue this course, Candidates must have pursued their
graduation in the IT/ Engineering/ statistics field.
• The candidate must have appeared for NBSAT (NBS aptitude test), a
management entrance exam devised by Narayana Business School,
which assesses the candidates Mathematical Aptitude, General
Knowledge, Verbal Ability & Abstract Reasoning.
• There is no minimum or maximum work experience required to apply
to PGDM program. However, having work experience will be an add
on advantage which brighten the chances of selection.

If you meet these basic requirements, then you must submit an
admission application form with all transcripts till graduation. All
of these are evaluated and shortlisted candidates are called for
NBSAT Entrance Exam, Group Discussion / Extempore round
followed by Personal Interview.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The program incorporates all the finer skill sets and conceptual details
that a graduate student should necessarily undergo for specialized
courses in data science.
Courses on Management Essentials of Economics, Accounting,
Communication, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and
specialized courses in Data Science and analytics are covered
comprehensively over six trimesters to make the student industryready.
The teaching pedagogy of Narayana Business School is highly
practical oriented wherein the students will have to explore, undertake
and exploit a domain exposure project, Minor course project,
HACKATHON, and flexi credit programs.
Students will undergo an internship to apply the analysis and skills
learned in the classroom to be well conversant with the practical
aspects. At the end of the course, every student will take up 12 weeks of
Capstone Project. The project will be evaluated by industry experts and
can be showcased to prospective employers as a powerful aspect of the
portfolio.
