8. The Internet plays an important role in people’s life. People use it for different purposes. They search
for necessary information, buy and sell things, book tickets and so on. As for me, I use the Internet for 2
hours a day on average. I play games, watch films, read news, communicate with my friends online. I can
find different kind of information in the Internet E-books, articles on different topics, video and music
files etc. .
9. The Internet helps me a lot with my studies. I find there plenty of useful information I need for my
lessons. I ask questions about different subjects on-line. There are people on the Internet who can help
you with many different educational questions. I use Skype to talk with my friends and relatives. I
correspond with my friends and watch different movies on-line. I also play computer games and have online battles. Social networks are platforms for people’s remote communication, we exchange different
types of information there: text messages, music, photo and video content and I use them for these
purposes.
10. Computer is very important and it definitely helps me study more effectively. I do some research in
order to write a good essay or solve difficult problems. I can find all the information I need just in a few
seconds. I usually write essays and compositions, do reports, read useful topics, translate unknown words
with the help of computer. The computer helps me do my homework faster.
