Interview: Emma Watson Once Mistook Jimmy Fallon for Jimmy Kimmel Script Jimmy Fallon-Thank you so much for coming back to our show. Is it -- Is it all flushing back to you? Emma Watson-The trauma. The post-traumatic stress of my last performance on the "Jimmy Fallon Show." Jimmy Fallon -Last time you were on this show, and this is late night, we just had met. We'd never met each other. Emma Watson-We'd never met before. Jimmy Fallon-And you couldn't be nicer and sweeter and, gosh, I'm a fan of yours. And you came out, and you sat just the way you're sitting, Emma Watson -Just here, in this seat. Jimmy Fallon -And we were talking, and I just gave you a compliment, and then you said, "Before you continue..." Emma Watson -"Before you even start the interview..." Jimmy Fallon - Yeah. Emma Watson -I just dove straight in with "I love that Halloween candy thing that you do." Jimmy Fallon -And I said... Emma Watson-And there was just silence. Jimmy Fallon- I said, "The Halloween candy thing, is that right?" Emma Watson-You're like, "The candy corn thing?” Jimmy Fallon - Yeah, I thought -Emma Watson -No. Jimmy Fallon - You go, "When you get kids, you trick them." And I go, "That's Jimmy Kimmel." Jimmy Fallon -It was the first time we met! Emma Watson-And I died inside. Jimmy Fallon -You died. You turned bright red. Emma Watson -I died inside. Emma Watson-I was like... Jimmy Fallon- I don't mind. I get that all the time. I get Jimmy Kimmel all the --but then.... Emma Watson-But you were so sweet, 'cause you let me you were like... You could tell that I was dying inside, and you were like, "It's okay, honey. If you want to go out and start again, we can do it again." Jimmy Fallon -Yeah, so I had leave and re-enter, and then when you came and sat down, I said, "So, are you a big fan of late night TV?" That was the first-We don't ever want to embarrass our guests, so, please, thank you for coming back and I appreciate that. Emma Watson - You were so sweet. But then I feel like this show had a great vibe, cause everyone was in hysterics Jimmy Fallon - Yeah.. Emma Watson -And the energy was like --And I was so keen to do a good job after having… Jimmy Fallon-Yeah. We love you. I mean, come on. Emma Watson -Aww. Jimmy Fallon-We-- Whatever you do. You have had a giant year. Emma Watson-Yes, I have. It's been crazy. Jimmy Fallon -I mean, you were fantastic in "Beauty and the Beast." We had Josh Gad on the show. But, man, you were just perfect. You were beautiful in it, you sang great, it was shot beautifully. And I want to say, not that it really matters to anybody, but I think it made like a billion dollars or something? Jimmy Fallon-Is that possible? Emma Watson -It's crazy. I remember someone saying to me, "We'd be so happy if this made, like, you know, 600 or 500 or something." Jimmy Fallon - Yeah.. Emma Watson -and it's been it's like, I can't even. I'm just so grateful that people... Jimmy Fallon- That doesn't make any sense. Emma Watson -...loved it. Jimmy Fallon -Those numbers are crazy. Emma Watson -I know. It's crazy, crazy. Jimmy Fallon - How does it......... Emma Watson-But this means that people loved the film, which is just -- which is just so awesome. Jimmy Fallon -I know. We could tell you put a lot of work into it. Emma Watson-Yeah. Jimmy Fallon -I read somewhere..... I read somewhere that you had to go to like a princess boot camp or something like that. Emma Watson -I did. I did princess boot camp for three months. Jimmy Fallon -That sounds like fun, though. Emma Watson -It was fun. I got to ride a horse, I got to learn to waltz, and then I had singing lessons and then rehearsals. So it was like, yeah. Jimmy Fallon - Yeah..... Emma Watson- It was cool. Jimmy Fallon - Yeah, so now would you ever could you ever waltz now or ballroom now if you...? Emma Watson-Uh, I mean, I could, like, stumble my way through something reasonable, yeah. Jimmy Fallon -Maybe next time we'll do a ballroom dance. Emma Watson -Okay, great. Jimmy Fallon -All right, yeah. I know. You're really excited about that.
