CXD AGENT (EXPORTS)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position
of CXD Agent that has arisen in the Exports Department at BBF Pinetown.
The CXD Agent will report to the Exports Supervisor and will have amongst
others, the following duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Team Leader, Exports Supervisor & Key Account Managers in all
matters relating to export duties
Support Key Account Managers with sales enquires, freight & production
lead times ETC
Remain up-to-date on all export procedures & and regulations ETC
Provide
required
product-specific
recommendations
based
on
enquires
if
Prepare quotations based on recommendations &/or enquires from
Distributors & COD customers
Capture new orders on JDE
Co-ordinate with the production & warehouse teams to ensure orders
are on track & packing and dispatch details are correct
Co-ordinate
applicable
pre-shipment
inspections
for
specific
countries
where
Arrange container bookings and packing lists for sea freight orders
Arrange collection of airfreight orders
Produce commercial export documents, including SADC & Certificates of
origin as required
Ensure that payments are made in advance for COD customer before
processing new orders
Provide ‘Bill of Lading’ (ETC) to distributors/customers
Handle stock returns according to the company policy and arrange
credit notes when approved
Handle all freight invoices and other miscellaneous invoices related to
shipments & forward to the accounts dept. for payment
Open customer files, specific to each order and ensure that all proof of
export documents (ETC) is received before closing file for submission to
SARS if required

An IEX Certificate will be an advantage
3-5 years’ experience
Background in manufacturing/logistics/warehousing is an advantage

Experience on JD Edwards will be an advantage

PRODUCTION CLERK
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position
of Production Clerk that has arisen in the Industrial Products Department
at Beier Envirotec. The Production Clerk will report to the Production
Manager and will have amongst others, the following duties and
responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Daily data capturing and transacting on the ERP system.
Stock controlling and maintaining optimal levels of office and factory
consumables.
Initiating the placement of purchase requisitions for stock items and
consumables.
Receive and verify ordered goods from suppliers.
Ensure all receipts of received goods are maintained and submitted to
the Accounts Department on time.
Perform
routine
administrative
functions
such
as
recording
information, updating paperwork, maintaining documents, including but
not limited to attendance records, production output and waste
records, or other material into databases.
Maintaining a good filing system (hard and electronic files).
Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of

Liaising with suppliers and contractors as well as internal departments

MAINTENANCE STOREMAN
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of
Maintenance Storeman that has arisen in the Maintenance Department at
Beier Envirotec. The Maintenance Storeman will report to the Maintenance
Manager and will have amongst others, the following duties and
responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1 Administration
Ensure that all your priority 3 and 4 job cards are completed within the
time period as defined by the job card priorities.
The keeping up to date of various documents as required from time to
time. This may include graphs on the notice board and any other
responsibilities given as may be required by the Maintenance Manager.
To record all instances of breach of the OHSA or wiring code and ensure
immediate action is taken if there is a safety concern of any kind that is
observed by yourself or is made known to you.
2. Maintenance
Keep your work area neat and tidy with all paperwork stored in an
orderly fashion.
Safety & Housekeeping
Work to the company standards and the OHS Act.
Ensure correct and safe working habits are practiced.
Use necessary PPE including, but not limited to, earplugs, masks,
glasses, fall arrest equipment, etc.
Ensure that waste is disposed of in a responsible manner as per the
waste disposal procedures and assist in the training of others in this
regard.
Ensure that fluids and liquids are not disposed of in stormwater drains
and assist in the education of others in this regard.

3. Stores
Maintain a minimum stock level of critical spares required by the
factories, which includes timely ordering of items that have been issued.
Maintain a record of the issuing of parts and equipment that leave the
workshop.
Receive items that are delivered to the stores, this must be checked
against a relevant purchase order.
Maintain a log of PPE that is issued to anyone.
Maintain an up-to-date and accurate SDS file for any liquid, grease, oil
etc that is stored in the store.
Attend weekly purchasing meetings. Feedback on the status of
outstanding orders.

Follow up on items that are due for delivery and report weekly at

Notify the Buyer, Maintenance Planner, and Maintenance manager if items

Key Responsibilities:
Set clear strategic objectives for the brands under their control and
monitor compliance to brand positioning and visual identity.
Develop and implement a marketing and sales strategy in order to deliver
volume, share and profit targets as specified.
