Hello everyone, You may have seen in the email on Friday from the Student Bar Association, there is going to be a runoff election between myself and Eliot Smith for the American Bar Association/Chicago Bar Association Student Representative. The election will go live today at noon and voting will be open for 24 hours on the webpage https://intranet.law.illinois.edu/vote/. A little about myself, my name is Parker Mee and while I have met a lot of you, I wanted to introduce myself to those who I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting. While I did not initially put in my name to run for the position, when I saw an opening, I decided to throw my hat in the ring. I have really enjoyed my time getting to know everyone and this position seemed like a great opportunity to meet people and to help the law school as whole. I have had similar responsibilities in the past when I was a student liaison for One Love, a national domestic violence prevention organization, where I helped inform people about events and other opportunities. I would love to have your vote, but I do not think there is a bad choice for the law school and look forward to whatever the results may be.
